Question: I use a dry sponge after applying foundation with a brush. I don't use a damp one because I don't want the moisture to weaken or remove my sunscreeen. How does this change the effect you would get with a damp sponge? Thanks, Risa!

As a MUA myself, I could even use a brush-up regarding tips and tricks from time to time, as we all get into a rut now and then! My biggest concern, in spite of years of using truly great skincare, is that my undereyes have grown very dry. That being said, my skin is generally normal to dry. Therefore finding an eye primer, corrector, & concealer is difficult. I have no wrinkles outside my eye area such as crows feet, underneath the troughs that are developing from fat pad loss, well this is my struggle. I use either HOURGLASS eyeprimer, or NYX. I have correcteur fro both SMASHBOX/ BECCA or NARS. I also have DIOR FOREVER CONCEALER. Is there something or a combination better for undereye troughs over 50-55? Thanks , Risa!

I love the Estée Lauder double wear but I cannot ever get applied right with a brush and I love full coverage but I use a sponge and would love to use a brush if I could get it to look right. It’s like it dries faster than I can get it blended out.

Risa this was so helpful- thank you 😊. Part 2?🙏😉 I’ve been applying my foundation with a brush followed by bouncing with a damp beauty blender for a few years now and I take it one step further by ending with taking my hands and pressing everything into my skin…..it’s a 3step process but it makes a huge difference:) Happy weekend 💕 Xo 🇨🇦

Very helpful videa, Risa. Really enjoyed this. I personally wash my brushes almost every single use!! I have a background in laboratory medicine and I am concerned about bacteria, especially on and around my eyes, so I clean them every time. (I will never use a multi purpose product on my lips AND eyes for that reason! Lips and cheeks, maybe, but products for eyes only on eyes) Even my facial brushes, I wash very often. Even if I have to change them out more often, it's worth it and it may actually make them last longer.

This comment posted to the wrong video. I had started typing it while watching a different video and then your video started playing. Sorry about about confusion 😂 Your video was great! Thanks for the tips! I'm not into colorful shadows, so I wouldn't pick most of these palettes. I do like hearing your thoughts on them, though. Hi Risa, I hope I'm not bothering you. I have a couple of questions. You look so beautiful in the new Smashbox Always On foundation. I was wondering what face powder you choose to set it with most? Also,,,,which do you like better? Patrick Ta's blush Duo or Gwen Stefani's Blush duo? Just curious. I'm thinking about purchasing these products and value your opinion. I hope you're having a wonderful day. 😘 Love, Diane

You are a wealth of fantastic information. I have hooded eyes and I take and head your advise. Risa you are so well versed in makeup and fashion. I adore you and I never miss a video. You should write a book on hooded eyes and makeup application and tips and tricks. I ordered my first Natasha Deonna palette yesterday and made a small. Ulta order. I really wanted the Persona stick blush in Teddy. I also ordered a ColourPop powder blush in papaya, and a bronzer stickI would love to get the technique of applying bronzer and blush. I never used bronzer at all since when I started wearing makeup that wasn't something I saw. Could you possibly focus a video on that? You look stunning as always. Luv you.🤗💋✔️💯❗❤️🎃 Congratulations on your newcomers to your channel, you have a fantastic variety on your channel. I think your "Swell". They are going to love you too ❤️

Wow, these are some awesome hacks! I have been a faithful brush and definitely sponge cleaning person. I clean my eye brushes every two uses. My foundation brush, sponges and makeup puff; I wash every single day. I will never put a foundation brush, sponge, or poof on my face, that is dirty... ever!! I want to try the concealer around the lips and nose hack. That looks so perfect, for the face. ❤❤❤
