Great video!! I like the fact that these item are actually practical. Most videos are items where the market is over saturated or stuff that really doesn’t sell that well. I also like the part where you give advice on where to find the base customer for the product. Thank for the video

The tactical vest holders do sell if you can work your way into showing them to a department. I have found that the hardest part is being able to get to someone in the department to showcase them. I have also started working on the rocking horses but only as gifts so far I am hoping I will get some orders for more soon. Thank you for the video.

Great video! Would love to see a rocking horse build. Another way to reach your target audience could be donating an item for a silent auction at a banquet or function.Our local FFA chapter has one every year at their banquet. Just a thought. Keep up the good work and Be Safe!

Ryan love the videos man. 2 things though 1 could u do a build on few of them. Potentially the rod holder and the horse? 2 could u do a video maybe on stuff for this side the pond. The vest holder a can see in the us but over here all service personnel dont take vests home and guns well that's a no go over here. An trying to take my business full time this year made £3100 last year mainly through 1 package and couple smalls. I've just launched my fb page although don't think it's all that great. Would u take a look if a send u link. 🏴👍

I like your channel, your content and your success story! Truly inspiring and beautiful:) I like the bottle cap tables also the epoxy tables as they could be personalized very much. I know you discouraged from making them but I really like them and the customization part is what makes me most excited about it.
@cutting-it-close

No the bottle cap tables are great! You can make a decent chunk from them and your epoxy pouring skill will get better as well. Make sure you drizzle a line of epoxy over the caps after you lay them down, let that cure them pour your flood coat. That drizzle will help hold all of the caps down, if not they are going to float up. Then pour your second flat coat the cover the base of the caps so it traps the air inside of them, then you can pour the big coat.

@@cutting-it-close Ryan, what woods do you recommend for the rocking horse? It looks to me like the one you feature is made of oak. Is that correct?
@cutting-it-close
8 ай бұрын
I do plan on getting some plans made for it, I about a month, The wood you use will depend on how you intend on finishing it, If you plan on using paint and color the horse, I think a good solid plywood, pine or poplar would work, if you want it to be natural, Oak would work, Red Oak would be a cheaper option and still look good, or you can do a mix of walnut cherry and maple to give the horse some contrast. @@donaldjclaxton

I usually skip over this channel because I don't think anything has ever been built on it. Show a video of you actually building one of your "money makers" to show you actually know what you're doing. Everything is "how I made 100K in week". Show your abilities if you have them and maybe you'll get more subs. Just a thought
@cutting-it-close

I agree, we are going to start doing that this year, I did not have enough time allocated to making videos last year because I was running Frio and the woodshop. I have more things in place now so I can dedicate more time to the channel, so I can spend the extra time building things on video. Thank you for the insight it is much appreciated. Hopefully I can count on your sub this year with some of my new videos!

Gross sales is exactly what we’re referring to, every time we try to make these types of videos and reference possible profit numbers, people tend to think we’re being unreasonable.

It is surprising how much junk is pushed by woodworkers. It all comes down to the demand in the market. There is not much demand.

I’m curious how much you’re involved in the woodworking world to be able to cite those “facts”. I do woodworking as a side job and my full time job often takes me away from home for the majority of the week before returning home. Last year, that little time of my life that I was at home in my shop, I alone generated $12K in sales, and I live in a rural area nowhere close to any large cities. You seem to not only have a misled opinion, but also seem to be very negative to the subject
