Is there any relation between shifting the angle of the horn and the register that one is playing at? I don't know if this is some sort of mystake that I need to fix, but I noticed that my embochure tends to shift slightly as I move into the upper register, with my lower jaw receeding a little bit and/or my front jaw going forward a bit. As a consequence, it seems that the best natural horn position would shift a little, with the horn turning downwards slightly as one goes up the upper the register, and then back upwards when one goes back to the middle and lower register. This also might not have only to do with the projection of the sound, but also with reducing/evening pressure on the lips. especially on the upper lip. Do you have any thoughts or insight about that?

Yes, you're right. You have to put pressure on both lips the same. That told me teacher in high school. Anyway, yes you're right, you can go in the upper register slightly downward with horn angle and in low register slightly upward
