#5 is the kicker. Women are guilty of trying to heal the man she's with or wants with her love. We get heartbroken and upset when they don't receive it. But, technically they are incapable of receiving it at that moment. Personally, I've learned that I can't love a man to healing. Only the Lord can.

Great advice! I remember when I was young and not ready I wanted to get married but at the time I didn’t realize how a deep connection is formed and what it feels like. And if I was on a date and someone said they never wanted to get married I wish I would’ve believed them because if you think you can change them you’re wasting your time. Once I finally met my husband at 29 I was in a good place and could identify an amazing relationship. Good people are out there but it starts with us first and our healing processes and outlook

Great message Stephan!! I agree with all 5 Questions , but #4 & #5 resonates so much more with my spirit.The sad thing about us humans is that we are ignorant about how our childhood traumas shape our decisions. We think we are good until we get in a relationship and suddenly things fall apart. As a woman, I’ve found that it’s not always the man’s fault. We have to face our reality and deal with the traumas that keep us from choosing and being in a great relationship.

The last one is tricky. You will always have baggage. But at least work enough on your baggage to learn to put your ego a side. I officially started to date a guy now and appart from being highly sensitive (me to touch) I suffered from sexual abuse as a kid. I worked on it for years, but still now sex and even affection for me sometimes makes me scared and wanting to run away; that's why I asked him for time to grow the affection slowly. I'm working on it; but sometimes you just don't know that something still affects you on some areas until you start or develop a relationship. Just learn to work on the problems when thry appear and don't blame your partner.

@Guitana88

I think this goes hand in hand with all the tips addressed in this video. Do you know what type of person your looking for? Do you have discernment to spot them? Granted this comes with experience, wisdom and patience ..and especially knowing yourself. Also what have you set intentions on what type of relationship your looking for? Are you looking for marriage ? Are you looking for just a relationship? Usually we just tell our selves that we are just "dating" testing the waters then we end up in situationships and with time wasters. I think its important to have the intent already set within yourself so that you know what your looking for to eliminate wasting your time and getting into difficult situations. Have you spent adequate time alone without dating or having someone on the side ..legit single ? Because this gives you time to reflect, heal , get to know yourself etc...I think its important to have a period where you're truly single not relying on anyone emotionally or physically. This shows strength of character and lowers chances of being codependent. Thank you Stephan!

I truly believe in real/genuine Love!! I was at one point, the female internally saying: "Nah, Lord🙏🏽, I got dis' but obviously didn't have it.." 4) I do, Love myself 😌. Trying to get much deeper into my self Love; striving to be the best me, that I can be, with improvements in some areas... These 5 ways in meeting a mans needs, reminds me of how important healing is If your mindset is not in a place, u may not be able to embrace it in a healthy way Before I can move forward in any future relationship, a man truly liking me is important If he does not even like me the remaining list won’t really matter in the long run liking someone allows affective communication A man following through and embracing what I need and want is such a turn on and my natural reaction to it is to give him what he needs and wants in abundance Being aware and embracing my feminine energy onto him can only enhance what we already have Ladies remember, if a man is going above and beyond for us Please and thank you and anything in between goes a long way A man feeling valued and appreciated is huge

I wish I could send this to the guy I used to date. Specially the part where you talk about making time for your partner. He never wanted to make actual time and his excuse was always that he had his kids with him and that his kids play sports. The only time he would give me was a few hours once a week and had to go quickly. I took it for 2 months but got tired of him saying and not doing. I think we only saw each other like 5 times in those 2 months. He would get upset with me when I would tell him he doesn’t have time to date. That was a situationship not a relationship.

Well... this was very enlighten or me. I was good up until #4 and 5. I do realize I still have a lot of healing to do bcuz I accepted this new relationship knowing and seeing all the signs and the red flags from my previous relationship but I really wanted it to work bcuz he was someone I reconnected with after 30 years. I had so many hopes and dreams about our “love story” in the making. And of course since I did t fully heal all of my triggers kept popping up and anxiety and self sabotage and I think now I’m just ready to move on. Thank you so much for this. Now if I only I had the strength to let him go again.

People stay in bad situations because of fear, whatever that may be, and stepping out their comfort zone. Convenience is another reason also. People know there are good people out there, but don't feel they deserve to be with one. This where self reflecting & healing comes into play.

I've been working on myself for the last few years and the thing that held me back the most was holding on to negative energy!! I've did studies on so many different things and have come very far from the person I was before! God has been blessing me in so many ways and he recently put the love of my life/first love we met when we we're 13 and I'm we're 28 now. I never thought I would ever see or talk to her again and it's still very shocking and overwhelming in a good way! She met family that no one else has ever met shes back at home and she is a very special person and I will do anything to make sure I'm taking the necessary steps not to win her over but to do the right thing! I messed up pretty bad when we were young but as adults we both got damaged by our mates! My mind is completely clear and alot of things that you mentioned I have done! The last question was the one that I'm wondering about but yet I have had to cope with some of the worse things imaginable so something that's healing to me Is actually making things right!

1. Yes, there are good people in this world. 2-6 working on loving and healing myself..... It's a struggle, because while I'm working on myself, then I'm pushed down 10 feet by unrevealent people at church and work..... 🤔🙄🤔

Yes all powerful questions. A lot of the time people consider how a potential partner would benefit themselves, but when it’s the right person you’re going to ask how can I be a benefit to my partner, you are going want to GIVE them them YOUR best rather than just ‘what can they bring to me.’ So I agree no is perfect but if you can ask yourself ‘am I bringing my best self to the table’ then that’s an indication that you’re ready to embrace dating.

Some questions I thought of adding that all kind of stem from the same branch.... - Am I willing to carry another persons baggage if they are not healed? -What do I feel I deserve? -What is my tolerance level? -What is my (or your) definition of love? -Whats my goal? What do I want from this relationship? Thank you for this wisdom !!

Stephan!!!! You nailed it with this piece. Your questions deal with "what is the state of YOUR heart?" Honestly, these are the main things that only we can control. And everything starts with me / us / you...... I am the product of two people that loved each other in the most amazing way. My parents were the perfect example of true love. They were married for 50 years before my father just passed last year. I find that I believe that there are good men out there, however, most of my relationships have failed because of one of your questions not having a healthy answer. Because of me looking for someone that loves themselves in a healthy way and not finding it, I slipped into a place of feeling like something was wrong with me... Your questions confirm that I have been wanting the right things, I just have to pray to manifest the right man for me. Thank you THANK you thank YOU!!!!! Keep doing what you are doing, you are providing FOOD FOR OUR SOULS!!!

I came to the realization this year that time is an issue for me and what time I do have for leisure, I’ve been investing in myself. I’ve been having a wonderful time and when my load lightens, I’m looking forward to dating. I feel the best about myself since I’ve gotten to know myself lol. It was scary initially but honestly it’s the best decision I made and I encourage you to dig deep. But back to that timing issue… there’s so much truth to that and work life balance is paramount to me being my best version. So I’m working on that while enjoying my own company. I love swinging by this channel for the stimulation & motivation. 🙌🏾

I do my best reflections while journaling. You provided great questions and insight into those questions for me to reflect on. I realized there was one particular area that really resonated with me. So, I’ll be exploring that a bit further. But, I’ve always been a firm believer in self development. In fact, my first book that helped me during my early college years was “Battlefield of the Mind” by Joyce Meyer. Truly blessed me during a time when I needed guidance and didn’t really know how to articulate that need. In any case, thank you for sharing this information whether through personal experiences or Divine guidance. God Bless ❤️

Damn. I'm speechless. I've never heard better pre-dating advice in my life. My parents didn't give me the best example of what a relationship should look like, so I'm super scared that I won't manage to get into a healthy one in the future. I'm only 17 and I've never dated, because I feel that I'm not ready yet, bc I have to learn what true love really means before entering one since I don't have many people to look up to lol. I'm really thankful for such an eye-opening advice and I will try to apply it into my life and become a better person. All the best~! Btw I subbed to your channel

attraction is more then half the battle yes trek had one hell of a personality but cmon we all know that women need to be a bit attracted to you because if they are turned off after a few minutes after meeting its either see you or i am friend zoning him
