For the first time in god knows how long, (6 months) I was able to get into bed and sleep w/o symptoms. It felt like I was floating. It felt NORMAL! I was able to get out of bed this morning and stand without pain! My legs held me. I could sit on the toilet without pain. It’s a freaking miracle. I’m not gpinf to pay attention to it. I’m just going to live my life today. The turning point for me was watching your “Bring it on” video. I’m Jay found it’s way to my you tube feed. I’ve been implementing those techniques for the past two weeks. THANK YOU DAN!!!!!!!😘😘😘😘

Hey Nancy, so proud of your accomplishments!! What a relief. Thank you for sharing. I also loved the "Bring it on" video. On some days I had strong symptoms in my head which felt threatening. After I stopped panicking when they showed up and used the "bring it on" now already for a second time in a row they vanished.

Thank you so much! Yes, we are brave 100%. I have come to realise how strong I am having gone through all I have before I even turned 30. I am 31 now, and I am recovering. Slowly but surely. Fear made me believe my life was over, that I would never have a family, get married, continue my career, can compete in sports again... bloody liar!

Hi there! I am still working on that and I am not back to competitive level training yet but I have been slowly doing more over the last year. I now train 3 days a week in the gym and walk 1-2 hours or do yoga on all other days. Just slowly done more and more, noticing nothing is wrong. And if I had a flare just reassuring myself. It's still a work in progress. For me it was huge taking my fitness watch off so I cannot monitor my stress levels and HR anymore. This kept me stuck.@@LottaMerikanto

In hindsight Terror/ Fear accompanied me during 18 years of my chronic journey.Extra fueled by diagnosis from the best specialists and therapists 😜. Emotional chaos and relentless traumatic events too. I’ve worked so hard on myself, the past 2,5 years.. unfortunately I had severe reaction to 2 vaccines.. which aggravated my situation badly for 1,5 years.( 2021-2022) I never ever mentioned it again in my comments, because I got severe backlash from someone. But if that didn’t happen, I would be further in my recovery. These days the emotional chaos has stopped.. resolved the past and trauma.. still estranged from 2 kids but it’s not a war- zone. I made peace with them end of last year. Life hasn’t to be perfect to feel happy. Now just working on calming my nervous system. I truly believe you have the healing recipe Dan and I love drinking your healing soup every day! Thank you for the unique free engagement! Have a sunny day you and everyone ❤

Dan, i feel so safe and supported being back in the group. You are such a wise and patient coach, the group dynamic is strong. Last night going to bed i had some anxious thoughts about some gut issues and whether I'd be able to sleep. I imagined the fear as lurking in a den, in a pocket of my mind. I deliberately, decisively said, nope. Not entering that den. Mindset!! What fun stuff am i doing tomorrow? The fear vanished, no symptoms, had a really good sleep! This stuff never ceases to amaze me. I so appreciate and respect you for all the work you do, for the clear, simple (not easy but simple) yet powerful concepts you teach. This is my life raft to safety and a new person I'm becoming.

Who is the Father of lies? Satan! John 8:44 Satan was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. So we know who is the author of our suffering. Believe Jesus. He is the way, THE TRUTH, and the life and can set us free ! Thank you ❤

How many of these questions can you answer true? Do the FIT assessment below. If you answer yes to even one of the criteria, that is an indicator that your brain creates the pain based on perceived danger. Your body is not the problem. FUNCTIONAL: -Symptoms begin without physical precipitation -Symptoms persist after an injury has healed (3-6 mo) -Symptoms are in a distribution pattern that is symmetric -Symptoms occur on one whole side of the body or occur on half of the face, head, or torso -Symptoms spread over time to different areas of the body -Symptoms radiate to the opposite side of the body or down a whole leg or arm -Symptoms that occur in many different body parts at the same time -Symptoms that have a quality of tingling, electric, burning, numb, hot or cold INCONSISTENT: -Symptoms shift from one location in the body to another -Symptoms are more or less depending on the time of day. Or they occur first thing in the morning or in the middle of the night. -Symptoms occur after, but not during, an activity or exercise -Symptoms occur when one thinks about them or when someone asks about them. -Symptoms occur when stresses increase or one thinks about stressful situations -Symptoms are minimal or nonexistent when engaged and joyful or distracting activities, such as when on vacation -Symptoms are minimal or nonexistent after some kind of therapy, such as massage, chiropractic, Reiki, acupuncture, an herbal or vitamin supplement TRIGGERED: -symptoms are triggered by things that are not related to the actual symptoms, such as foods, smells, sounds, light, computer screens, menses, changes in the weather -symptoms are triggered by the anticipation of stress, such as prior to school, work, a doctor's visit, a medical test, a visit to a relative, or a social gathering; or during those activities -symptoms that are triggered by simply imagining engaging in the triggering activity such as bending over, turning the neck, sitting or standing -symptoms that are triggered by light touch or innocuous stimuli, such as the wind or cold

I answer yes to at least 10. I actually get symptoms or at least a very strong fear of symptoms just hearing say someone at work saying the tweaked their back. It sends me to high alert and can even exacerbate symptoms. Breaking this fear seems almost impossible. I'm not sure fear of emotions and anger is as strong as the fear of symptoms. It just feels like a viscous cycle of fear pain fear. My fear of pain is often way higher on the scale than the pain itself. I can have a lvl 2 or 3 pain and have level 8 fear. Is this common in your experience with people?@@PainFreeYou

I'm having a lot of fear right now. Been a bad start to year. Had to go back to dr Wednesday chest stabbing. Right near heart. They checked my vitals. Said not heart. BUT they don't know what it is. And I'm not reassured. It's still happening. Just less. We are told check out. Get reassurance. But I'm not. I am now really anxious. Given the assessments this could be tms. But it's scary with no Dr's. Or explanation. 😢

If there is nothing life threatening going on, the TMS assessments are how you rule IN TMS/PDP. If the assessments say TMS, then that's what it is. There is no downside to teaching your brain you are safe.
