While Adventism has similarities to Hebrew Roots, it's absolutely not the same and is a flat out occult with their own false teacher with her own so called writings. I'm happy to hear you've left Adventism. However, I wish to encourage you to be very careful not to be deceived. Hebrew Roots too has drifted away from the truth, even to the point of denying the deity of the Messiah in some movements within Hebrew Roots. Personally, myself and those in the community I fellowship with refer to ourselves as Messianic solely because it mirrors much of what we believe. Messianic isn't part of the Hebrew Roots movements. However, when we describe ourselves, we simply say we are disciples of the Messiah, studying God's Word to know and live out God's Word just as it's written. If you'd like to learn more, an outstanding resource I would highly encourage you to check out is torahresource.com/ I have found Lex Meyers to be quit good also on his KZitem channel. Shalom

Hi, Jana. Yes, I run into that belief a lot. And my typical response when our Hebrew Roots friends want to cast doubt on Paul is to ask if they are suggesting that Paul's writings should be removed from the Bible. Because if that's what they believe, they are putting themselves in a position of authority over Scripture. And if they only accept the things in the Bible that they like, and reject the things they don't, it's not the Bible they believe but themselves. On the other hand, if they _do_ accept Paul's writings as Scripture, then they need to accept the things Paul teaches as the true Word of God. Which means they've got a significant uphill battle if they want to claim that the Old Covenant laws are still in effect today! Blessings, Rob

I agree. Great teaching. If I may put forward my understanding on the matter of Christian traditions which have been handed down are unscriptual in that they do not conform to the true meaning of the apostle's teaching. Christendom is not the church. The church is the body of beluevers, the body of Christ. On the other hand, Christendom is the progeny of the Roman prostitute and still walks after her ways. The true church which is the body of Christ did not fight wars for the dominion, power and wealth of this world. Christendom did and still tries to do politically. Christendom belongs to Babylon, the great house of religion that was Babel/Babylon. Housing all the religions of the world. Christendom still holds captive his holy people, just as the type and shadow of Nebuchaddnezzar's Babylon held captive God's people Israel. I began to receive these revelations 20 years ago, to realise that Luther had similar teachings. Only Luther attributed Babylin, the harlot, solely to the Catholic Church. And, indeed, she is the mother. And her children have followed after her ways. From the false Roman church came all manner of pagan superstitions clothed in Christian attire. It is from her that came church buildings as temples, when believers are the temple of God in the NT. From her came alters, when the one sacrifice fir all time has already been made. From her came priests, when e ery believer is a priest before God, the veil having been ripped apart by Christ's atoning work on the cross, and believers boldly come into the most holy place before the throne of God. And the Catholic priests became Ministers/Reverend etc, in the Protestant church; we don't need ministers to serve in the tabernacle since we have our high priest Jesus. From Ministers/Reverend etc, came the modern day Pastor, who still ministers to the people. This is not at all the pattern set by the apostles, where the gifts to the body were to operate, ministering to one another, bringing firth from their gift as the Spirit led, for/to the building up of the body, the church, to the maturity of the fullness of Christ. I could say much, much, more. But I won't and I appreciate it if you have read this far. Cheers

@34:40 the topic of circumcision was spoken of as though it had something to do with justification, but Paul clearly explained in Galatians 5:4 that this was a matter of Judaizers trying to force circumcision upon believers in order to be justified. We all know that we are justified by faith. The major reason for Paul's writing to Galatians was to dispel the idea of being JUSTIFIED by any means other than faith. So once again, a strawman has been set up since Paul was not talking about sanctification through obedience.

Why did jesus teach us about the 10 commandments and specifically how to keep the sabbath day holy? What is your interpretation of Matthew 24: 19-20 when jesus is referring to the endtimes suffering and the sabbath day?
@educational4434
2 ай бұрын
He warns Jews to pray that their flight not be on the Sabbath because he knows that Jews will be keeping the Sabbath. He's not promoting Sabbath keeping there. He's saying that because Sabbath will be in the middle of being kept, if it occurs on the Sabbath, then that will be exceptionally difficult for them. Also, Jesus was not keeping the Sabbath, and he explicitly said that he works, as his Father has not ceased working so neither should he. And Jesus did not explain in any verse how to keep that Sabbath holy to my recollection. He simply said that if you are keeping the Sabbath, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. But if you believe upon the Messiah, he has become your Sabbath rest, as the Sabbath day rest was a shadow of the rest that would be in the Messiah for those who believe upon him. This is why he teaches and explains most of the ten commands from the law of Moses, but he does not do this explicitly with the Sabbath day, and this would make sense as he is the Sabbath rest, and as he said man was not made for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath for man, and he went on to say that he is Lord of the Sabbath, in other words he gets to explain how and when and if it is to be kept going forward

Mr Solberg, you said something about one function of the Mosaic law being to witness against our sin. How do you define sin in that context if the law is not something we should follow? I do very much disagree with your perspective here and think that much of your argument is kind of circular (in the way you often interpret Scripture based upon the conclusion you have come to and then use that interpretation to support your conclusion), but I'm not asking this to fight or trap you with some kind of perceived 'gotcha'. I'm sure you have a well-considered explanation. I am just wondering how you would explain the issue, so I can more fully understand your position and perspective.

For example, if the judje forgive you your breaches of the law without reason, just because he loves you, that doesn't mean that he gives you a permanent permit to continue breacging the law or that he says no more law for everyone. No, he forgives you the penalty, but requires from you to continue keeping the law.

32:07 Interestingly enough, the Greek word translated "disciple" is the noun "mathetes". The verb in the same word family is "manthano" which means "learn". So literally, the "disciples" were "learning ones". If Peter and others he commissioned were under Torah, what was it they had to "learn"? It wasn't Torah! M9.13 But going LEARN (manthano) what it is: Mercy I want AND NOT SACRIFICE (according to Torah), for I did not come to call righteous, but failers". Paul termed the law of Moses "a law of righteousness" which was opposed to "the law of faithing" R9.31; Phil3.9. Paul also called the law of Moses "the law of failance and of death" R8.2. So the context of those Jesus did NOT come to call being "righteous" points to the righteousness out of law of Moses, not the law of faithing!

The key to understanding the relationship between the Christian and the Law is knowing that the Old Testament law was given to the nation of Israel, not to Christians. Some of the laws were to reveal to the Israelites how to obey and please God (the Ten Commandments, for example). Some of the laws were to show the Israelites how to worship God and atone for sin (the sacrificial system). Some of the laws were intended to make the Israelites distinct from other nations (the food and clothing rules). None of the Old Testament law is binding on Christians today. When Jesus died on the cross, He put an end to the Old Testament law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:15). In place of the Old Testament law, Christians are under the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2), which is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and to love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39). If we obey those two commands, we will be fulfilling all that Christ requires of us: “All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:40). Now, this does not mean the Old Testament law is irrelevant today. Many of the commands in the Old Testament law fall into the categories of “loving God” and “loving your neighbor.” The Old Testament law can be a good guidepost for knowing how to love God and knowing what goes into loving your neighbor. At the same time, to say that the Old Testament law applies to Christians today is incorrect. The Old Testament law is a unit (James 2:10). Either all of it applies, or none of it applies. If Christ fulfilled some of it, such as the sacrificial system, He fulfilled all of it. “This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3). The Ten Commandments were essentially a summary of the entire Old Testament law. Nine of the Ten Commandments are clearly repeated in the New Testament (all except the command to observe the Sabbath day). Obviously, if we are loving God, we will not be worshiping false gods or bowing down before idols. If we are loving our neighbors, we will not be murdering them, lying to them, committing adultery against them, or coveting what belongs to them. The purpose of the Old Testament law is to convict people of our inability to keep the law and point us to our need for Jesus Christ as Savior (Romans 7:7-9; Galatians 3:24). The Old Testament law was never intended by God to be the universal law for all people for all of time. We are to love God and love our neighbors. If we obey those two commands faithfully, we will be upholding all that God requires of us.

Is the olah korban a burnt offering? Or is it an ascent approach? Do we not still desire to ascend properly - through Christ? We have understanding that ancient Israel did not - mainly that the objects of their worship were pointing to Messiah. It would have been a mystery to them why they did what they did. However, Yeshua came to fulfill Torah and He did so in many ways such as His sermon on the mount where He clarified (fulfilled) the intent of the instructions about things like adultery and murder. Torah will stand until heaven and earth pass away. Not all commands are for everyone and some commands cannot be done properly today. However, when they can, they will be relevant once again and we should be prepared to carry them out. We shamar (poorly translated as "obey" or "keep" because it means "guard") Torah rather than dismissing it. We asah (obey) however we can and that is not for justification but for sanctification.

Wrt the sacrifice of Yeshua/Jesus I agree wholeheartedly that one of the reasons for this selfless act was an eternal atonement for our sins. But lets not forget that Jesus's message was for the Jews. The Jews that GOD had divorced due to their adultery (idol worship). Perhaps Jesus's death was also necessary so that GOD could once again have Israel as HIS bride...otherwise it wouldn't be allowed under mosaic law??

Not the way you interpret I think. I will always filter anything I read through the recorded Words of Jesus/Yeshua and GOD ALMIGHTY. So, when reading something about The Law I will always have Matthew 5: 17-20 foremost in my mind. And, clearly all things have not been fulfilled so His Words are still binding. GOD HIMSELF made it clear that The Law is good and living in it will bring blessings and living contrary to it will bring curses. Clearly it is the way that all humans were meant to live. Surely GOD ALMIGHTY/Jesus knows whats best for us? So, what I get from Romans 7 is that Paul tells us that the Law can no longer condemn us to death because, as long as we have acknowledged Jesus and follow in His footsteps (re: teachings) and have accepted His gift of salvation from His death on the cross then we are redeemed. Paul is not telling us that The Law is done away with. It cannot be done away with until all is fulfilled: "17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill." There is plenty of prophecy still to be fulfilled and GOD is unchanging and does not err. So, as long as we are flesh we should/must live are lives according to GODs wisdom (re: Laws). As it is written....GODs Laws are not burdensome. Very easy actually. Shabbat Shalom @@kimartist

Hi, VL! The Law of Moses is the law that Yahweh gave to Israel through Moses. And the reason I refer to it as the “Law of Moses” is because that’s what the Bible calls it. The problem is you misunderstand what fulfilled means...Levi priesthood has been fulfilled, it doesn't go away, no law is abolished as Jesus said and he can't lie(unless you think he did) its purpose is still intact but now through christ the priesthood can now be reached by everyone...get it?... I could do this for all of your points... you guys make this so hard... law and grace goes together.. Don't you know GOD put his laws on your hearts and minds?? the 2 things we need to fully believe in christ to be under grace lol. Believe in YAH and let the laws be a guide for your life.. its that simple...your teachings give ppl the idea that the laws are done away with as if GOD made a mistake making them of if JESUS lied when he said he would not end them... and most of you follow the laws anyway...death is a law, gayness in the church a big no no, gods law, drunkness is a sin...gods law, pride is a sin, gods law.. Seems like the biggest issue with this video is that you say that the viewer needs to choose between the new covenant and the old one. That doesn’t make much sense because we have to observe both, meaning there is only one covenant that Jesus taught and fulfilled to a completed form. So then if any “contradiction” appears after Jesus’ teachings in light of the New Testament the question is not which one do you choose but can the seeming “contradiction” be reconciled by letting the Bible interpret the Bible. I am not a Torah observer, I am in the middle trying to figure this things out about who is right and asking for the Holy Spirit to guide me in all truth but the arguments you raise are quite easily countered if you watch any of teachings of the people you are responding to such as David or 119 ministries. However, I will point out 2 interesting observations for the readers of this post. 1. 119 ministries is constantly flashing their Masonic handsymbols such as the upside down pyramid especially in their earlier videos. So even though their arguments seems extremely strong they are part of an agenda that is involved in some kind of deception. I just haven’t figured out what exactly yet. 2. The fact that you call yourself a professor and put your diploma in the background in some videos, wear a 3 pcs suit etc is also a tactic I see teachers like yourself use which means you are trying to leverage that “authority” against the viewer. Opposite of what 119 ministries does. Edit: just saw a video of you throwing the same Masonic hand symbols. Nicely tried but now we know both of you are on the same team. Only Elohim our ABBA Father knows which one of you is right but I suspect both of you are off.

Hello sir, you were quick to pick examples that that involved the levitcal priest and temple sacrifices. You are aware that when Jews were taken to Babylon, they were not able to perform these functions. In your kind opinion, other than sacrifices, what other Laws did Yeshua made null and void ? Living lawless is not a faith i would want to be apart of. Yeshua came to do the HaShem's will. HaShem was very expicit that these commandments were forever through all generations. If Yeshua made the Law of Moshe null and void and not to be follwed, you've made the Father a lier. And by the way, which law do you considered fulfilled ? Thou shall not Murder ? Thou shall keep the 7th day holy unto your G-d ? Thou shall love the LORD your G-d with all of your Heart, soul and might ? Oh, thats right.. none apply in your view.. Yeshua fulfilled them all.. Unless a Christian gets to pick which Law to follow and stick with that. There is only one true covenant. That is the ark of the covenant. Yeshua was the true atonement for our Sin. What does the Tanakh say is Sin ? The transgretion of the Law. Unless you think Hashem lied there as well. G-d bless you sir. Baruch HaShem

Hi, Bobby! I teach and believe that obedience is God’s “love language.” Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). And I'm sure you would agree that not every command that God has given applies to every person at all times. Some of His commands only apply to certain people (i.e., men, women, parents, Levitical priests) or for certain times (i.e., building an ark, gathering manna, while in exile). And I'm sure you would also agree that we are each only expected to keep the commands of God that apply to us. The NT expressly teaches that many of the commands given under the Old Covenant Law do not apply to Christians today. (ex. Repeated blood sacrifices for sin are no longer required (Heb 10:18).) We still serve God and obey His commands, “But now we are released from the law, having died with Christ to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code” (Rom 7:6). So if we want to put a classification of "law" on it, Christians follow the Law of Christ. Blessings, Rob

Amen. Luke 16:20-31 [20]And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, [21]And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. [22]And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; [23]And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24]And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. [25]But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. [26]And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. [27]Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: [28]For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. [29]Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. [30]And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. [31]And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Ties in with John 5:43-47 [43]I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. [44]How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? [45]Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. [46]For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. [47]But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? Rob makes it either/or, but the scriptures tell us it's both/and. Isaiah 8:20 [20]To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Psalms 19:7-8 [7]The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. [8]The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. Revelation 14:12 [12]Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. This can be found throughout the OT and NT, but not always with those specific words. James 2:14-26 [14]What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? [15]If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, [16]And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? [17]Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. [18]Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. [19]Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. [20]But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? [21]Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? [22]Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? [23]And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. [24]Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. [25]Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? [26]For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Romans 6:12-19 [12]Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. [13]Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. [14]For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. [15]What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. [16]Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? [17]But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. [18]Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. [19]I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. They won't argue against obedience; instead they argue the boundaries of what is called sin nowadays. Not using scripture, but opinions about which thing used to be called sin should be lumped into which category. Moral, Ceremonial, or Civil. Why is murder cast into the moral box? Is it because God said thou shall not kill? Did He not also say to remember the Sabbath, and list instructions for how? They love to quote James on this: James 2:10 [10]For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. But fail to read on. James 2:10-11 [10]For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. [11]For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. Would it not make perfect sense to extend that out to everything God said? I appreciate your comment, brother. I just wanted to add a second witness. I pray people will unstop their ears, but the reality is that people come to this channel to have their ears tickled. Seeking affirmation for what they already believe, or darts that they can use to throw at people like us. Psalms 119:129-136 [129]PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them. [130]The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. [131]I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments. [132]Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. [133]Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. [134]Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts. [135]Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. [136]Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

Hey Flyguy. I'm concerned we're losing sight of the fact that words mean things. Let's not confuse the "Gospel" (which literally means Good News) of Jesus, which refers to His death and resurrection defeating sin and death, with the "Torah," which means "instruction" and refers to the first five books of the Bible. The Torah contains many _foreshadows_ of the Gospel, and it points us to Jesus, but it is not, itself, the Good News of Jesus. The OT says "the Gospel is coming!" The NT says, "the Gospel is here!" I disagree that I am confusing anything. I know the Church doesn't get it that ALL of YHWH and his Son Words are Gospel because that is what you teach, that only the revelation of Yeshua is the Gospel. That is very shortsighted and nothing but a milk and not meat viewpoint. There is a Gospel of Messiah, but that is not all. Are any of the Ten Commandments not good news? They are great news! And all the rest of the Commands are great news to those that love the Father and Yeshua and want His protection and belessings in this fallen world. Here is what Moses wrote about the good news.Deut 4:5-8 “See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as the LORD my God commanded me,... 6 So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ 7 For what great nation is there that has a God so near to it as is the LORD our God whenever we call on Him? 8 Or what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole law which I am setting before you today?" ALL of YHWH's statutes and judgments are righteous and literally good news. There is still time for your Damascus Road conversion Rob. Shalom

This is pure deception. The gospel is used to preach the law. The gospel is the good news of the entry of the power of grace to keep the moral law which is spiritual while we are carnal and unable to keep it. Rome.7:14; 8:1-7. To make to eternal life we ought to obey God by keeping the ten moral commandments. My.19:17; Heb.5:9. By faith in Christ we obtain the power of grace to keep law. Rome.4:16;5:2; Acts 5:32. The law directs us to heaven but the gospel is the power to enter heaven. The gospel proclaims the law, the law preaches the gospel. 1Pt.1:25. The ten commandments of God reflect the character and will of God. Rome.2:18; Ps.40:8. Forget about the mosaic or sacrificial laws. The moral law is permanent being God's eternal character. In the old covenant it was written on stone. In the new the same law of ten commandments was written in our hearts. Heb.10:16. Sin is the violation of any one of the ten. 1Sam 15:24; Jam.2:9-11. Judgment is by same law which happens to be in the heavenly Ark of the covenant.Rev 11:18-19; Jam 2:12; Rome.2:12. He.9:4.

Hi, Alex! Keeping the Mosaic traditions is permitted for Christians, but it is not required. The Sabbath, the kosher diet, the feasts, circumcision-none of these things were prohibited. So why should we expect that Jewish followers of Jesus would have stop keeping them? Jesus assumes in Matt. 24:20 that they will continue to observe the seventh day Sabbath. And if any follower of Jesus today wants to keep those traditions, they are certainly free in Christ to do so! Of course, doing so, won't add a thing to our righteousness and it does not impress God. But if you want to do so, go for it. Paul explains this idea of "permitted but not required" in 1 Cor 9: "19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings." (1 Cor. 9:19-23) Shalom! Rob

Globally, there are 6 main Christian groups and 45,000 denominations of Christianity. Why and the next question is, who decides which interpretation is correct. This is part of the reason I left Christianity, that plus the hypocrisy. Speaking for myself and as an example, you have stated in more than one video that Christians are no longer required to celebrate the feasts given by Yahweh. Yet Christianity celebrates Easter...Greek and Latin "pascha", which is taken from the Hebrew (Pesach). My position on the HRM is like oil and water...they don't mix. No matter how many videos any of us make to defend our positions or that of Christianity, HRM or Torah observance itself, someone's interpretation is wrong and I acknowledge that none of us want to be wrong. So every time we step out of our houses, get in the car or on a plane, close our eyes to sleep...are we prepared if we never come home or wake up. If each of the 45,000 denominations each think their right...what is to debate. I am more impressed with seeing ones faith in action, which would be a truer testimony to their faith. Which brings another question, what does that look like? I think it's a good thing humanity will not get to decide who spends eternity with Yahweh, because I truly believe none of us would get in.

@@placeofrest2860I’ll say 1. Faith emanates powerfully, and those with faith truly love God, are infatuated with Him, and desire to pursue His will. I pray that you get to experience this truly in your heart my friend, faith should not be stricken by fear of lack of knowledge but should be secure in Jesus your salvation and the utmost deepest longing for Him, that your heart melts for Him, that your will is what bounds you because it seeks Him, not the capabilities of your intellect. Don’t give up such beauty because you don’t know every little detail. 2. The denomination count is highly inflated by the way those people worked their data and their definition of denomination. Even Catholics are said to have over 250+ in that study, but no, there are really about 20 if that. No denominations are divided over the main doctrines as stated above, and the differences in how the Church operates in those denominations can almost be looked at as diversity in a way (although there has unfortunately been division because of these things), all of Christs body with unique flavor and thought. “Christ is the cure” is doing a pretty cool denomination series on KZitem if you wanted to check it. I was wondering with regards to Israel being a nation of priests if you have heard the perspective that Israel was to become a nation of priests but because at Mount Sinai they broke basically all the Commandments it was limited to just the Levites? The idea is that Israel was supposed to be a light to the Nations but because of the rebellious heart the Levites had to be a light to Israel and so thus the Levites had cities amongst the Israelites

The Levitical Priesthood is still intact. Yahweh has made all Israel a “kingdom of priests and a holy nation” Exodus 19:6. So each Israeli is charged with displaying to the world priestly conduct. This would not include what the Levitical priesthood is charged with in the worship of Yahweh in the temple. Peter repeats this for those of us new to relationship in Messiah. 1Pet 2:5 assigns for us our position as lively stones, building up a spiritual house, (kingdom of Messiah - Israel) an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices. We are not acting as Levitical priests, we are acting as the everyday Joe Israeli at the foot of Mt Sinai. The Levitical Priesthood was not yet established and is separate and continues to be separate today. Our Messiah is not eligible to be a priest on earth since he is from the tribe of Judah. Hebrews distinguishes Him as High Priest in the order of Melchitsedeq, High Priest in the temple not made of hands in heaven. Heb 5:1 - 10

@@TheBiblicalRoots Thanks, reasonable. As I see it, Hebrews 9:12 is talking about Jesus entering the holy place (not most holy place). I assume this is somewhere in heavenly places?? I think this might be the sanctuary (pattern) Moses was shown by God as a reference building for the earthly sanctuary. However, in particular, for Adventists this makes a huge difference, whether Jesus entered the holy or most holy place after he had ascended to his Father in heaven. On the one hand, Jesus appeared in the presence of God (which typologically would be the second compartment, the most holy place). And on the other hand, Hebrews 9:12 tells us that Jesus entered the holy place, the first compartment. For me it is difficult to discern what happened at the end of the day ... Do you have an answer? You have nailed Deuteronomy 31:26 very well Professor! There must be a clear distinction between What was in the ARK and the ORDINANCES concerning animal sacrifices that Moses wrote and placed BESIDES or By the side of the ARK containing the 10 Commandments. We must therefore be careful to make this important distinction between what was NAILED to the cross and what WAS NOT lest we worship God in VAIN when we make void, His Holy Law of the 10 Commandments: 1. You shall have no other gods before God. 2. You shall not make any graven images of anything in heaven or anything on earth (not even images alleged to be pictures of Christ). You shall not bow down to them to defile yourselves. For God is a Jealousy God visiting the iniquities of the fathers on their sons to the third and fourth generations and showing fervent love to those that love me and keep my commandments. 3. Do not misuse the name of God. 4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep (not to make) it holy. Why? For in Six days, God Created the heaven and earth and all that is in them. In other words, the Sabbath is Gods signature of claim to His creation! 5. Honor your father and mother that your days may be long. 6. Do not murder. 7. Do not commit sexual immorality. 8. Do not steal! 9. Do not bear false witness against your neighbor! 10. Do not covet your neighbor's household and your neighbour's wife! Christendom has chosen to "obey" 9 and stumble on the Sabbath Commandment. It's either Christendom is willfully self-deceived or they are not aware about the wonder working power of Satan! God warned us about what sin is. It is transgression of the 10 Commandments (Romans 7:7, 1 John 3:4). The man of sin is addressed as such because he actively commits sin on an industrial scale and causes the whole world to commit sin. The man of sin has global influence and is said to rule above the kings (presidents) of this world! Daniel 7:25 foretold about a power that would think to change God's Laws and God's Calendar (times)! The reason Christendom is choking on the Sabbath Commandment is because they are using a man-made Calender! God's Calendar does not depend on NASA! God created time from the beginning! Genesis 1:14 God created the Sun and the Moon to keep time, be for signs, for seasons, for days and for years! God's Calendar has Three types of days; New Moon Days, Work Days and Sabbaths! If the Calendar you are using currently does not account for these days, it's time you do some detective work! Did you know that Saturday is NOT the Sabbath? Did you know also that Sunday is not the first day of the week according to God's Calendar? In fact, God's days have no names according to His Calendar! There is currently a strong global movement pushing for SUNDAY Sabbath Legislation to compel ALL, great and small, to observe a complete cessation from cevile duties and commerce. Soon, no one will be allowed to buy or sell unless they are ready to compromise! And this is being done under the guise of tackling Climate change! The question is what authority does the state have on matters of worship? Why does Caesar want to interfere with worship issues? Christ had to die to atone for our transgressions of God's Holy Law so that we may live. Satan through his human agents wants the whole world to willfully continue in sin so that there should remain no more sacrifice for Sin (Hebrews 10: 26). 1 John 2:3-4 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a LIAR, and the truth is not in him (KJV). For further reading on Calendar changes that have happened, read the Book of Jubilees Chapter 6:30-38. Also visit www.worldslastchance.com to learn more about Satan's wonder working power of deception! All you need is humility and open-mindedness to unlearn wrong things and learn new things! When the traslators of scripture say "The Law of Moses, they sometimes use the phrase to think it's one and the same thing which is a big misrepresentation of scripture! Deuteronomy 31:26 makes a clear distinction between The Law of Moses, which is ordinances regarding animal sacrifices and the sanctuary service, and the Ten Commandments Law contained in the Ark. The 10 Commandments cannot constitute the Law of Moses because they were not written by Moses but by God himself! That's the Holy Law of God!

Wrt to Reason #1 (1 Peter 2:5). In Chapter 1 of 1 Peter he addresses his epistle to "the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father". My first inclination when reading that is he is addressing some of the Jewish Diaspora. This thought is reinforced with para 3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,"....would not "begotten us again" refer to GODs original selection of HIS chosen ones in the Exodus and now again through Christs sacrifice? I suppose it could also mean "born again"...but one wonders? Also, 2 Peter 5 "a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." I'm guessing "spiritual sacrifices" are not the same as living/breathing animals? And also, the wording of para 9 "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" this wording is the same wording when referring to the nation of Israel? Also, in para 11/12 "Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, 12 having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation." If He is speaking to "Gentiles" he would not state "conduct honorable among the Gentiles"?? And in para 25 "For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls." Sounds alot like not following the Torah.

While I understand your rationale I look at it all slightly differently. Personally, I find keeping the Laws/Commandments quite easy. Especially, when you remove the ones that do not apply...concerning women, levitical priesthood...having no temple...etc. It seems to me, from what the Bible says that the Laws were to make the Israelis a light unto other nations, in that following them would result in a superior community...one to be admired by others. As well, I have no doubt that the Laws would provide a healthier and happier life. I guess my outlook is that if it was good enough for Jesus to live by then its definitely good enough for me. I tend to put a lot credence into Jesus's actual words as opposed to what others have said after His death and resurrection. Especially Matthew 5:17/18 @@adamguy33

@@tonybenjamin7844hyour basically saying JESUS didnt reveal to Paul the mystery of the new covenant! Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished” (Matthew 5:17-18). This important statement of our Lord gives us insight into His mission and the character of God’s Word. Jesus’ declaration that He came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets, not to abolish them, obviously contains two statements in one. There is something Jesus did and something He did not do. At the same time, Jesus emphasized the eternal nature of the Word of God. Jesus goes out of His way to promote the authority of the Law of God. He did not come to abolish the Law, regardless of what the Pharisees accused Him of. In fact, Jesus continues His statement with a commendation for those who teach the Law accurately and hold it in reverence: “Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:19). Note the qualities that Jesus attributes to the Word of God, referenced as “the Law and the Prophets”: 1) The Word is everlasting; it will outlast the natural world. 2) The Word was written with intent; it was meant to be fulfilled. 3) The Word possesses plenary authority; even the smallest letter of it is established. 4) The Word is faithful and trustworthy; “everything” it says will be accomplished. No one hearing Jesus’ words in the Sermon on the Mount could doubt His commitment to the Scriptures. Consider what Jesus did not do in His ministry. In Matthew 5:17, Jesus says that He did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets. In other words, Jesus’ purpose was not to abrogate the Word, dissolve it, or render it invalid. The Prophets will be fulfilled; the Law will continue to accomplish the purpose for which it was given (see Isaiah 55:10-11). Next, consider what Jesus did do. Jesus says that He came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets. In other words, Jesus’ purpose was to establish the Word, to embody it, and to fully accomplish all that was written. “Christ is the culmination of the law” (Romans 10:4). The predictions of the Prophets concerning the Messiah would be realized in Jesus; the holy standard of the Law would be perfectly upheld by Christ, the strict requirements personally obeyed, and the ceremonial observances finally and fully satisfied. Jesus Christ fulfilled the Prophets in that, in His first coming alone, He fulfilled hundreds of prophecies concerning Himself (e.g., Matthew 1:22; 13:35; John 19:36; Luke 24:44). Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law in at least two ways: as a teacher and as a doer. He taught people to obey the Law (Matthew 22:35-40; Mark 1:44), and He obeyed the Law Himself (John 8:46; 1 Peter 2:22). In living a perfect life, Jesus fulfilled the moral laws; in His sacrificial death, Jesus fulfilled the ceremonial laws. Christ came not to destroy the old religious system but to build upon it; He came to finish the Old Covenant and establish the New. Jesus came not to destroy the Law and the Prophets but to fulfill them. In fact, the ceremonies, sacrifices, and other elements of the Old Covenant were “only a shadow of the good things that are coming-not the realities themselves” (Hebrews 10:1). The tabernacle and temple were “holy places made with hands,” but they were never meant to be permanent; they were but “copies of the true things” (Hebrews 9:24, ESV). The Law had a built-in expiration date, being filled as it was with “external regulations applying until the time of the new order” (Hebrews 9:10). In His fulfillment of the Law and Prophets, Jesus obtained our eternal salvation. No more were priests required to offer sacrifices and enter the holy place (Hebrews 10:8-14). Jesus has done that for us, once and for all. By grace through faith, we are made right with God: “He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross” (Colossians 2:14). There are some who argue that, since Jesus did not “abolish” the Law, then the Law is still in effect-and still binding on New Testament Christians. But Paul is clear that the believer in Christ is no longer under the Law: “We were held in custody under the Law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the Law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian” (Galatians 3:23-25, BSB). We are not under the Mosaic Law but under “the law of Christ” (see Galatians 6:2). If the Law is still binding on us today, then it has not yet accomplished its purpose-it has not yet been fulfilled. If the Law, as a legal system, is still binding on us today, then Jesus was wrong in claiming to fulfill it and His sacrifice on the cross was insufficient to save. Thank God, Jesus fulfilled the whole Law and now grants us His righteousness as a free gift. “Know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified” (Galatians 2:16).

@tonybenjamin7844 one thing to consider, is the epistles most likely had been written and dispersed before the gospels. So those living at that time had the testimony of Jesus's ministry, but not the actual account of His words... the hermeneutic you are using could not have been used by the early church, and sort of negates the Holy Spirits part in writting the Scriptures

So, I think you don't get it and by the way you destroyed yourself. Here is the verse you brought up : Numbers 6 18The nazirite shall shave the head of his naziriteship at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and he shall take the hair of the head of his naziriteship and place it upon the fire which is under the peace offering. You see your huge mistake? Where does it say in that verse that they had to wait several days to make a sacrifice? And the worst thing is, where does it say in this verse that they have to purified themselves? After his nazariteships end! So, regarding verse 18 They ( nazarites) shall shave their heads in front at the ENTRANCE and then , in continuation , they shall place their hair upon the fire off the burn offering, which was done beforehand! So, no waiting period of time, nothing. No purification ! But according acts 21, they had to wait some days right? Only if Numbers 6 , verse 9 would take place, that would change the scenario but you would have a bigger issue. In this verse, the nazarite shave his hair AFTER the purification! But there is nothing we can read about in acts 21, right? And this ritual would make only sense for a nazarite or a Kohen. But as far as we know,Paul was a Benjamine, right? So what is going on in Acts 21, verse 24 -26? Here is the answer! In acts 21 the author is describing a purification of someone afflicted with tzara'ath - meaning rash ! But he messed up too. Here we go: Levitikus 14 8The person being cleansed shall then immerse his garments, shave off all his hair, and immerse [himself] in water, and become clean. After this, he may enter the camp, but he shall remain outside his tent for seven days. 9And it shall be, on the seventh day, that he shall shave off all his hair: [that of] his head, his beard, his eyebrows; indeed, all his hair, he shall shave off. He shall then immerse his garments and immerse his flesh in water, thus becoming clean. 10And on the eighth day, he shall take two unblemished [male] lambs, one unblemished ewe lamb in its [first] year, three tenths [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with [olive] oil as a meal offering, and one log of [olive] oil. But we know that Paul got arrested. So how would he have been arrested if he had to stay in quarantine? Another proof, that the Christian canonical writings are completely made up. Written by non Jews, which lived in a hellenistic matrix and they had not clue about the Jewish laws.

Luke 17:20-21 KJV … The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: [21] Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, *_the kingdom of God is within you._* 3- Apostle Paul said you won't see people eating and drinking in the Kingdom, because the Kingdom is spiritual: Romans 14:17 NASB95 *_for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit._* 4- Jesus is ruling and reigning from heaven right now: 1 Corinthians 15:25 NIV For *_he must reign_* until he has put all his enemies under his feet. Revelation 1:5-6 NASB95 … and from Jesus Christ, … *_the ruler of the kings of the earth._* … 5- Believers are in the Kingdom now: Hebrews 12:28 KJV Wherefore *_we receiving a kingdom_* which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: Colossians 1:13 NASB95 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, *_and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,_* Rev 1:6 and *_He has made us to be a kingdom,_* priests to His God and Father - to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 6- Apostle John wrote Revelation while in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ: Revelation 1:9 KJV I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and *_in the kingdom_* … of Jesus Christ … 7- The Kingdom goes from symbolic and spiritual, to literal, on the Day Christ Returns, when He hands the COMPLETED Kingdom over to His Father (not a Millennium later): 1 Corinthians 15:24 KJV *_Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God,_* even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

It sounds like you're trying to decide if you are going to worship Paul or Moses .Jesus never goes against the word he is the the word he actually supports the Torah with All the Red Letters the only thing that contradicts anything in the new testament is Paul's writings. I follow Jesus Christ not Paul

Hi Chris. Are you suggesting we remove all of Paul's writings from the Bible? If so, that's pretty scary. If we accept the parts of the Bible that we agree with and reject the parts we don't, it's not the Bible we believe but ourselves. Respectfully, Rob

From the words of the one you claim. Maybe you should take notice and see HIS WORDS. Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Reason #2 God's Temple- Counter arguments. 1. The literal believer temple is for The new Earth (see Revelation 21). But in line manor you can defame the temple aka be going against the law, like unclean animals defame the temple so eating unclean animals defame your body. What you are doing is confusing absence for a statute for negating the law. (Example not having a car abstains you from speed limits but the law in its entirely is still in effect). 2. Min 14:13 ~ This is not the first time the temple was destroyed, and Jesus was predicting the new earth. The Millennial kingdom prior to the new earth (See Jeremiah 31, habakkuk 4, Isaiah 64, Isaiah 6:50, Zechariah 12, Revelations 20) 3. We know the fest are continued because of Jesus command. Take, eat” (Matt. 26:26). (Luke 22:19). The law was originally at each person's house. The tradition of at the temple was instructed by leadership after the second temple was built. That's why Jesus celebrated it at a inn, not at the temple. Now they have atonement I agree with you it would cease. And you're covered by repentance per Ezekiel 8

@@johnjones8112 if you are saved by your obedience, how much obedience is "good enough"? Do you see where that line of thinking must take us? There is no assurance that you can ever be obedient enough. My point is that only God can justify us, making it "just as if we had never sinned" as many people like to think of it. That must be true both before a point in time when faith is given by God to us and after. For if God is truly sovereign, He must have the sole prerogative to save whom He will at His own choosing. If He is not sovereign, specifically over whether we accept His gracious offer, then we slip into a philosophical argument of Pelagian, who argued that we are only "sin-sick" and not "dead in our sins".

@@johnjones8112 I can say "Amen". We should repent (of sin) as a matter of sanctification. And yes, absolutely, sin is the transgression of Torah and any other commandments given by Messiah. But as for whether our disobedience has any effect on our justification, it cannot - it MUST not. Otherwise, we are all still dead in our sins without any justification and the sacrifice by Yeshua was ineffective for anyone.

In my opinion, this is the best teaching you have done so far. It has systematically exposed the false teachings of this "movement" in a logical way. I know some will want to argue that with long drawn out essays that make no sense, then there are others who may have the veil finally lifted, so they can be set free from the spell they are under. May God help you! 🙏 A note to those who disagree with me and can't wait to comment with a thousand word response. Please listen to the video again as it would be a better use of your time. Maybe hearing what Mr. Solberg has to say over and over again will help you to understand.
