Welcome to Houston, sir! I'm a transplant from the Chicagoland area. Moved to Houston a few years ago and haven't looked back. Enjoy the Southern Hospitality and the much nicer weather + sunshine. The heat is epic, but I like it. I'd rather have a fork stuck in my eye than to even see another snowflake let alone getting up at the butt-crack of dawn to shovel or snow-throw piles of it just so I can get my car out of the garage. NEVER AGAIN. Again, welcome to town my friend.

Omg! Wow! You cracked me up so much in this video.🤣 I can relate to everything you said. I'm born and raised in Brooklyn. I'm an introvert as well. I move to Houston in 2018 and it's one of the best decisions I've made. However, wait until you get hit with the Texas heat this summer. It's no joke! I know you said you're a homebody and so am I, but every now and then I want to get out and get some fresh air. Houston fresh air in the summer is like living in an oven.🥵 It may work for you. As for me I'm going to travel to some place where there are beaches and breeze.😊 Anyway, I don't have a car either and have been able to make it work. I use Uber and Lyft as well and I know I save money without having a car. I live in the Medical Center so I can walk to almost anything I need. If you do get a car the insurance will be around $300. I had a car for a little while and as a new driver that's what they were charging me. I have my own event space business which is not far from my home. Definitely a better quality life, lower cost of living, and great opportunities for entrepreneurs out here. Oh yeah and, I feel you on the Valet trash and swimming pools. Don't forget free parking.🤣 We living the high life. If you ever want to create content at my space let me know. It's a Content studio as well great to do shoots and videos. All the best! From one NY to the next. Much love!
