@Linny95
8 жыл бұрын
Paula Hyland His bad acting, the fact everything on television is pre-planed, his timing on 'not knowing the answer' then figuring it out and his bad reactions. Plus it would be bad television if Jimmy didn't know the answers and the whole segment was just him saying "I don't know". That would be a disaster. Plus the segment is trying to explain the film in 5, 3 and 1 second. A lot could go wrong, so it's best if he knows the answers beforehand so the segment runs smoothly. Hence why he badly acts like he doesn't know the answer, only to figure it out later on so the audience is entertained.

norelco pc It is pre-planned LOL Most interviews, if not all interviews are pre-planned. How do you think all the interviewers always have the exact video or picture to show the audience whenever they're speaking about something funny? Plus, Jimmy not guessing an answer is just a fake to make you believe it's real and not planned. If they made it seem like they already knew everything then it takes out the fun. So they fake it

Then there are other ignored masterpieces like after hours, king of comedy, the age of innocence. Then there's casino, Hugo, the aviator, gangs of new york. Then Shutter Island, the departed, the wolf of wall street, silence, the irishman and etc. He has made masterpieces after masterpieces, dont get butthurt over his marvel comment. His movies vary, he has tried so many different genre and have never given a single bad film.

@King Peppy You are just a triggered marvel fanboy. You guys are so ridiculous, taxi driver is one of the greatest films ever made, the movie has high symbolic content, complex thematic exploration. You probably dont have the brain capacity to comprehend good art, go stick to your garbage marvel.

@King Peppy You asking that question clearly shows that you didn't understand the movie, the same happened with me when I watched it for the first then after rewatching it I understood what the movies tried. It dealth with existentialism, masculinity, loneliness and mental health, child prostitution and politics.. The movies touches on these sensitives theme in one of the most brilliant ways ever. The cinematography is hypnotic, the score and De Niro's performance is just mesmerizing, the final act of the movie is one of the best ever. The motifs/symbolism used throughout the movies were commendable, the way its left on ambiguity, for different interpretation of travis and the movie is remarkable. You should rewatch it, it isn't a movie that you could just watch with no focus, you need complete focus

I’ll always love Scorsese. He gave us my favourite music video ever. Michael Jackson’s Bad music video. Such a timeless film.
