In Buddhist teachings, there's a belief that five main obstacles can block your understanding and joy, leading to more problems in life. These obstacles are like roadblocks in our journey to being happy and wise.
The obstacles are:
One: Chasing after pleasures: This is when we keep looking for happiness in things that please our senses, like good food, nice things, or fun experiences.
Obstacle two: Holding grudges: This is when we can't let go of anger or hard feelings towards others.
Obstacle three: Feeling lazy or too tired: This is when we just don't have the energy or motivation to do things.
Obstacle four: Feeling restless and worried: This is when our mind can't settle down because we're always worried or thinking about what might go wrong.
Obstacle five: Doubting everything: This is when we can't make up our minds or are always questioning if we're doing the right thing.
