How can I use the light “alarm clock” and light when I wake early without disturbing my husband? Someone who sleeps in later, and is easily disturbed. And I work late, and when I get home, I tend to be energized, so I get sidetracked when trying to wind down, when trying I know I should be winding down 😣

cahnrad I understand the pain I close at work and don't get out until 1 or 2 a.m, I'm gonna be switching to the morning shift in a couple weeks and will have to wake up at 4 a.m luckily :), best way to be productive at night is to have light bulbs that simulate daylight instead of the yellow dimmer lights. I haven't really found anything else that helps increase energy and productivity at night

It’s hard I know, I change shifts every 28 days. 7pm-7am then 7am-7pm. I get depressed when i work night. I also take melatonin, sometimes a sleeping pill which is horrible. People who work normal shifts don’t understand sleep deprivation.

Reminds me of the only opportunity offered to repair the doctors program on star trek voyager lol, they had to overlay the repair hologram's matrix over the doctor's program to get him back to himself as his program was degrading and the repair program said it may only be a temporary fix and could only be done once because then his program would be gone. :-) When I was in my early teens I used to see how some people were liked more than others and I got into the bad habit of emulating other kids mannerisms. Till one day a good friend of mine caught on to what I was doing and started calling me the Sponge lol he said because I was trying to copy the souls of other people. I immediately stopped doing that and people liked me more because of my individuality. Of course my friend never let me live it down lol. Sometimes I'd joke around putting my hand on his head, close my eyes and take a quick inhale and then would mimic what ever silly thing he was just doing :-) I did however keep watching people and how they acted, and I'd pick out the bad things that annoyed others and swore to myself how I would never do those same things.
