Finally someone said it! Thanks my brother, you are a God sent son of the soil. I share your frustration & comend you on your composure. I want to highlight some points. I think for me these are the core of healing and should be sacred to the entire process. Without record keeping, how can one determine exactly what mixture was administerd some time back incase a patient's issue is not resolved and other steps have to be taken? No wonder people have the perception that muthi "doesn't work " or takes forever to have an effect. I find it funny how they always tell us what is said & done endumbeni must be kept secret, then they turn around & do the things you described. Worse, they quote a patient who is there who had the same issues you are coming with and how they hepled. Does that means they also talk about us to other patients? Where is common respect and dignity in that? Transparency is also a big one. One has the right to know exactly what is going into their bodies & what their taking home. People's lives are on @ risk and these guys are just so nonchalant about it. Ultimately I think the most important thing you walk out with are instructions. I actually know an Inyanga who gives instructions on a prescription pad. It's that simpl. I think a some of them hide behind patients not following instructions when things don't go right. It works to their advantage not recording them. Sithembele kini zinyanga zakwantu. Please stop letting us as a people down. Thanks KB. Love the new slot, please don't change it. God bless you

Great one Bra Kabza 👌. Sometimes healers charge different prices for the samething. I overheard in one ndumba a traditional healer telling a lady she can pay whatever amount she has for the same sigezo i came for, which i was charged R5000 but omunye whatever they have.🤔and this has happened in a couple of nyangas however they might be various reasons for this.

Last night i was researchig South Korean nuclear power stations and somehow delved into their culture. They basically accompany all religions but the country is more driven by Ancestral worship and healing, basically what we do. The research was well presented and written whereby you can tell people there are proud of themsleves and really have little negative to say about their beliefs and practices...it took me back and made me wonder what would outsiders read about our practices and beliefs coz there are forces out there that want to surpress African spirituality, and frankly they are winning coz of how our healers and the public conduct themselves.

You are 100 percent correct about the unity amongst izinyanga themselves...it is very critical because it is the only way to end the mission yamaqola, who profit from their disunity....if izinyanga had descent relationships, a patient would even get good advise about which inyanga to go to for certain things from another one... I do not believe that an inyanga can be good at everything alone, as some sort of a deity or god...i sincerely believe that all people are gifted in different areas and by working together, there would be a level of honesty, to a level of one inyanga saying "i will help u will opening ur luck but if u really want isgubhu that will really give u millions, i will refer u to umkhulu so and so" so that the other inyanga is aware of how far u've gone with this client and takes it from there...bt those guys don't do that, their egos precedes everything and the patient pays the price...it's very sad, but in ur position KB, u can make some changes. I apreciate ur humility and professionalism bro, u are a breath of fresh air in this whole thing yezinyanga, hopefully there will be some who listen to ur suggestions, so that clients can also make their choice of who to go to based on the quality of service not desperation, jst like we do in other aspects of life in general...with love from the Eastern cape❤

Spot-on Bra KB💯 Some inyanga/sangomas do not hlola or consult to see what's wrong or how one would be assisted. I spent my last money on a very useless nyanga from Marshall Town for products that didn't work. Some muti came not labelled with no instructions. I had to wait for 4 days before I could start using it, waiting for him to reply to WhatsApp🙄🚮. As for the prices, haike some charge a leg and an arm or intloko ye train. We need help and some people struggle with raising R5k to travel and hlola. How much more to be charged R80k and a cow, goat, this and that which totals to R100k and yet u only borrowed R80k and surprise senkukhu, mbuzi etc mxm. That simple means the person won't be helped. Nowadays, kahle kahle inyanga/sangomas are for the RICH. If u in the middle class or poor forget about traditional medicine/healers, sangomas, inyanga etc.

You are correct Mr KB sometimes we look at people who came to your studios talking nice but when we go to their shrines we found totally different in such a way that we lost hope in the process. Most of izinyanga always say they give time to their patients but when you met they left you confuse coz they always in a hurry n they don't have time at all. The worst part it's when they will be given you to the their employees to help you while you expect their hands to touch you, yes I also understand they get tired but they can reduce the number of people they attend in a so that they can get thorough help.

Traditional healers think that they are closer to God. Ba thswana le baruti. They claim to be working for their ancestors and good spirits etc yet they are mistreating and fail to respect their clients in a respectful manner. After they took your money don’t even bother or care about your problems. They give people izigubhu and never go through with people on how to use these things correctly. How a traditional healer give you something that he or she claims it’s big but ignore you when you try to reach out to him or when you don’t understand something at home? There’s no way a person can master isigubhu within 3 days of being with a healer. They give people medicine and spirits without teaching them properly and these things are causing problems in our lives. Healer are in it for money and flashing it on social media. What we see on social media or what they are saying, it’s not the same as what we get when we go to them. Badla izimali zabantu, ngamaqola futhi banananga. Period

Definitely agree with you on a lot of your points. Kodwa regarding ukuphuza uliphalaze, a lot of healers do it not because they wish to but because they forced. They had their own lives and ambitions before the calling came knocking, for me personally as long as they respect their work and do it professionally then I think it's all good. But the one of being at the club when there's a cleansing the next day is sad, on both participants. Fasting is the name of the game.

POINT #5: Be Professional- the rudeness. And these are the people who should be setting an example on ukuhlonipha amadlozi wabanye abantu. It’s the same old “do unto others what had been done unto you”, for a lack of a better phrase. Another thing. We understand ukuthi idlozi liyakhuliswa entwasweni but the gobela’s ill treatment is definitely not the way to go about it. Then now the graduate sangoma gives the same treatment to clients who aren’t even their thwasas.😓😥 POINT #3: Then lie ngabantu abadala saying uphahlile bathi inkomo yabo will be…. POINT #2: And due to the respect people have for abelaphi and the rudeness you spoke about at the top of the list, PEOPLE ARE EVEN SCARED TO ASK. Especially if akazwanga kahle, making this the Dr to repeat is something that will be very hard to for them to do. Another thing Bra KB, speaking to a patient like you’re speaking to another Dr who understands the jargon is a serious let down.😡😤 POINT #1: Unity- People that are expected to be spiritual go on to show just how that isn’t so. Ego still rules their lives. They’re still very much in the physical. Matter over mind. Thinking these power are theirs and “mina nginamandla ukudlula so and so”. IT’S NOT ABOUT HEALING THE NATION ANYMORE.🥺😢 THANKS, I also needed to vent.

Thanks mkhulu, as long as you pay them that 5000 to 10 000, if you don't see any changes and phoning them, they don't answer your calls anymore, if you go there personally, you will stay there there the whole day while ignoring you telling you that their buzy, thats why we end up consulting 5 sangomas but still getting the same attitude, at the end of the year you realize that you have used almost 60 000 for the sangoma s without anyhelp, to my surprise they will tell you your problems sometimes even the names of the people , but to heal is a problem, whats going On? The reason why you keep on changing isangomas is because you're sick or your amadlozi akho a thebulilwe, the other thing we woman they will start telling us that I love u. What's going on with our sangomas compared to the old one's, and they are short tampered, I think is because they don't work with the appointment, you will find that is 30 people in the yard in the yard, honestly 30 people per day consulting 1 person, they end up seeing 1 person for ten minutes because of the pressure and starting to be short tampered, especially after paying. Or uze kuMkhulu or uGogo, then all of a sudden you are given to some junior to attend to your very serious issue...

Can't turn a slay queen into an inyanga🤞.And also beware of fake izinyanga good people. The word ukuthwasa is just thrown around but few really know what it actually means ukuthwasa. The issue of pricing is also a thorn in the flesh.Bra KB you are too diplomatic, please hire someone with a character of Julius Malema who tells it like it is with fire🔥.

I understand where you coming from, but you must also look at it from the Healer’s perspective: I agree with everything, except : 1) healers are human beings too It’s okay for them to dress in whichever way they want Aslong as they respect you & their guides 2) it’s okay for healers to party if they want to,what matters is that you heal (Being a President that drink & parties does not mean you won’t deliver) 3) I agree that some healers are rude on the phone, but patients can also be rude. They like to call at anytime, forgetting that healers also have families
