I love this comment. This man speaks the truth 😆 I just got my Mother32 and DFAM combo, a few days ago. Already have the Subharmonicon. This gear is very impressive indeed, in its sound quality, and clever feature set. Now that I have my hands on Mother32, I am deeply impressed by it's design, and hidden features. I just keep a cheat sheet, tucked behind the stand, for when I need to change something. I have created a color coded (with key), patch panel cheat sheet, for the Subharmonicon. Will do the same for DFAM and Mother32.

Still getting accustomed to my Mother-32. I decided to explore modular by starting with semi-modular first and building a 3 tier Moog rack to go along with my Grandmother (this is probably my favourite synth in my setup). Got the DFAM & Mother-32, now just waiting to pick up the Subharmonicon. Definitely love playing around and getting good sounds out of it. Still learning my way around patch cables. 😄

Hey ambient moods great minds think alike. I am right in the middle of making a video about my Mother 32 after a ran a survey on my channel asking people what they wanted to see. The Moog Mother 32 was the winner. Enjoyed your video very much, a very personal journey with your Moog. Look forward to more.

I know you went “Shhhh….” But I can’t believe you kept out our ambient secret! What were you thinking?!?! LOL What I love about my M32 is the ease with which I can make a sound I’m thinking of. If I want a flute, a drum, a crazy, screaming machine, I can make any of those sounds - easily! I’m just beginning my venture into integrating Eurorack modules with my Moog suite - M-32, Sub-H and DFAM. I am visualizing amazing soundscapes coming soon!!!

Nice overview! How many shirts did it take to make this video? ;)
@martingoldmannmusic
3 жыл бұрын
Those shirts were selected carefully during the pre production process. My thought was that orange just isn't the right color for sequencers. (Yeah, ok, I totally messed up the sequencer part and had to reshoot it the day after 😁 )

I dont have a mother-32 but a behringer crave which is basicly a clone of that lovely synth and i have to agree on everything you say :) It has so many ins and outputs and the filter really sounds very juicy..

Thank you - I am curious: does the crave have a random mode for the sequencer?
@andewprod

@@martingoldmannmusic It does not, i already looked for it.. i can send stepped random voltage thru the assign out but not play the notes in different orders :( but i already have a seq that can do that so im fine. Obviously the crave has to be lesser quality and im considering the moog version but for now its basicly the same but in orange 😂

Loved this video. I also own a mother 32 and it's amazing. I want to expand to eurorack but I don't know which types of modules could be a good pair for the mother 32. I know this is very personal and depends on what do you wanna do with your eurorack but l'm curious to know which module you got after the mother 32 (:

Thanks for that nice comment. Not sure what the next module was after the Mother. I guess it was Marbles. However: I would choose Maths as the second module after mother. It is so versatile. :)

Jesus! You guys must earn some pretty good money. I earn £1600 a month after deductions. I love making music with my Lyra 8 and my ( a bit crappy) Korg Monologue; but, the possibility of me ever having a synth/production room? Never!
