I hate to to ask due to the risk of it being too personal, but what state is this Homestead and it looks beautiful w/ lots of flat ground that looks easy to plant in

Gotta look into laws in your area as well- I’ve just been learning that Colorado doesn’t allow the installation of a water well unless you’ve bought 35 acres or more

Yup, im still saving up for a piece of land by paying down loans on an apartment. Might happen in 3-10 years, but chronic illness do limit some. However i'm a firm believer of make the system smart instead of difficult as well as listening to my own body. Gonna do one thing and see if any more is possible, worst case i'll live in a camper with a technical building next to it and do some gardening in raised beds. Doesnt sound too bad to me honestly.

My dream is to go out to Puerto Rico, buy a few hundred acres and start a farm. Live in some yurts, grow weed, tobacco, corn, cukes, melons, bananas, plantains all the good food and have a fun life away from everyone

Be careful about living in Yurts in Puerto Rico because they can get some pretty strong hurricanes sometimes.

We were city folks, who came to Jesus at the end of 2018 and nearly over night our hearts and desires changed. My husband started talking about 10 acres of land. I suddenly wanted to start a garden. We began by paying off all our debt and saving to buy land. I became a stay at home mom and started homeschooling our young children. I started a patio garden, because we were renting and couldn’t have a garden. In the next 3 years we grew tomatoes, multiple types of peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, watermelon, canteloupe, strawberries, lettuce, spinach, kale, onions, carrots many flowers and did it all from a container garden. I learned how to make sourdough bread, we learned how to can and preserve food, we found so much JOY. And finally, 5 years later, we are moving onto our 10 acres. All the glory to God. We have so much yet to learn. But we are confident of this, that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. 😭🙏🏻
