I had my very first pitch last week, finishing my presentation only hours before I had the talk. Let's say it wasn't a great start, but they didn't say no yet. After watching this video I have made big changes to the presentation and I could visibly see them being more interested and asking better questions. My pitch is to the point and shows what they potential investors want to see. I am convinced of my idea and nobody has yet proven me wrong. I just have to be able to gain trust with the right people. So thank you for these wonderfull insights

Great job explaining some of the most important facts that might seem obvious at first, but that so many people forget. Hope you keep your motivation up and make more videos! Love the content, Leo.

Great video. We all strive for financial independence and better life. It’s not difficult in achieving this through the right investment, living frugally, and budgeting. I’m glad I learned early in life to work hard for financial freedom

In my opinion, venturing into a good investment is not just a strategy for generating passive income but a profitable saving method for future expenses. Those who fail to make the right decisions early in life end up regretting it. Nevertheless, investing can be difficult and risky doing it solely, For this reason, I advise seeking help from professionals(financial advisors). It’s not just watching videos and reading investment books the challenge is using them well.

@@RichardWilliam-i4z sincerely, I’m truly inspired by your words. I’m very interested in investing and I have got a good sum of money which I’m ready to put in with the right information. My biggest fear is losing my money on the wrong investment. For this reason, I’m willing to listen to your suggestions and ideas on how to invest wisely.

@@MaryPatricia-wr3wj As an OAP with a lot of experience, I firmly believe that the success of any investment depends on having the right information, regardless of what others say, do whatever you set your mind to. Warren Buffer always says "be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy". This is certainly the trick to succeeding even when others fail. I made $100,000 working with KRISTIN GAIL CUNNINGHAM a licensed financial adviser . It’s been a promising experience so far with her.

Great insight! I'm a founder of a collaborative content creation platform learning the intricacies of raising SAFE and pre seed rounds. And came across this gem. Seems obvious at first, but peeling back the layers also applies to us to scrutinize our own pitch and its (m)any weaknesses. You sir have added great value to me. Hoping to be the sponge on your data table.

Chasing VCs is a big waste of time for early-stage startups. They should instead focus on building their products and satisfying customers. Once startups have reached a good point VC themselves will knock on the door. This is the way to get a good deal and not getting scammed by VCs who themselves have never built a startup.

It seems like all investors are only on the lookout for "the next big (technical) thing". I am starting a retail store that's a gift shop and my goal is to get people off their computer and back out there shopping in my store in person! You know, buying someone a gift instead of a "gift card". Even though I will have a website and will utilize e-commerce, I still want to have them on site, to touch, sniff, taste and experience my products in person. Then come back again and again and again. So Steve, here's my question: are there investors out there who would consider investing in businesses like mine???

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

I agree with everything he says BUT its bullshit! Every VC including him will not invest in a company that the revenue model doesnt grow as fast as he needs it. This metric alone is the metric that kill the startup industry. VC kill starts because they have their own revenue model and cant help good business, they want unicorns and giants. I agree with this video but VC are the death of start ups

It's a series we created to democratize insight that funds tend to only share with their portfolio companies - a noble cause in our view. We're constantly working to improve and hit the bar.
