Nice, and thank you. It works well for me but I have to remind myself to do it every now and then.

I was telling my colleague today that if you got Imposter Syndrome, don't read the TS Docs lol. Then I went about my day googling how Parcel works with TS which lead to your channel and eventually this video haha Thank you for the tips!

👍This was awesome. I was a development manager for 3 years and Imposter Syndrome is no joke!!!

Thanks. Do you mean that Imposter Syndrome was no joke for you, or for people you managed? Or even both?

@@SwashbucklingwithCode Both for sure. But once I started to manage devs it became clear how prevalent it is.

@@SwashbucklingwithCode Also, good call out about bring up your short comings sooner to senior devs!! I found this very helpful early on and give the advice often

@@destinlee Great feedback, ty. It's probably worth doing a video sometime from a senior perspective on how to help new developers feel more open to revealing gaps in their knowledge.

Haha, probably a great format for it. Don't forget to make some quick notes about what you learned when moving it to "Done". It's a small detail that I really notice when I skip.

Great video. Didn't know it was called imposter syndrom. I landed my first job as a webdeveloper and this happened to me aswell. I never met a developer before so i was stressing alot if was good enough. Thankfully i can talk about this at work with colleagues. Thanks for the tips! I'm gonna try your anxiety stack aswell, gamify life.

Good perspective for me that not everyone knows the term, or hears about it. I see it often in my media circles and it's easy to think it's more commonly known.

@@SwashbucklingwithCode I just tagged it as a side effect of the infamous perfectionism, wich to me, is a real pain. For me it was good to accept that it's never perfect as long as you show progression, and that took me years to understand. That is why i find your anxiety stack a great idea.

I honestly didn't think this video would apply to me, I've been a developer for years etc etc, and if I'd woken up in a bad mood my stance on imposter syndrome was that it was for boot-camp beginners who are just unwilling to say they're beginners. But you've said some things that really resonated. I'm starting to find some programming youtube channels that I find really valuable whereas previously I'd thought they were all edutainment for beginners. This is really great and I really appreciate your style.

Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to say so. Since this industry in general is so focused on problem solving (understandably), I think there are more topics like this one that slip through the cracks of everyday conversation.
