I will start train Ty lol thank you for your amazing advice. Congratulations on the way you communicate things so they don't get misinterpreted and encourage people to take responsibility and change them first.

Thanks! It's hard work (especially for me) but we have to do it if we want to succeed in this love thing.

Hi Nate, do you have any tips on how to apply this information? It's like I have all this valuable knowledge but when I'm presented with a real-life situation, I don't remember anything, until after the event, and oh shoot, I should have done that! Which sparks my anxiety as a terrible person/partner/friend 😔

Hey Hala! It starts with some self-reflection (which you're obviously doing), then testing or experimenting with some different game plans. Some questions to consider: Where did things start to go wrong in this interaction? What am I going to do next time something like this happens? How could I be more appreciative and less critical today? What sensations arise in my body right before I lose control and say/do something I later regret? Awareness and planning will help give you space to choose differently.

Voww...so practical. I already use this training for my kids...and sort of looking into my spouse's reactions to me

It's so funny how we use this stuff on kids, but not adults. The strategies work with PEOPLE! And our partners are people. 👍
