Calci worms are a great option aswell, and they have a great calcium to phosphorus ratio meaning no need to calcium dust before feeding (you still can)

What do you use for heating? Would a heat mat work? If so, where around the tank?

Don't need heat depending where you live, if anything a light bulb above will do best
