The tape should stick just fine. I use masking tape and CA glue in between the two pieces

We sell the SVG files, you’ll have to program yourself. Our new files come with vectric carve files but I don’t think that will work with carbide create

I wonder how you make a ramping cut ( if that is what you call it) like you did at 7:57 in the vid. Can you do this with Carvco?
@TwoMooseDesign

I don’t use carve co but I’m sure you can. In vectric and easel you can.

I think you need to be very cautious with those lamps. If someone was to use a high-wattage bulb (75w or higher), there is a very good risk of burning the inside and possibly causing a fire.

their CNC is under $8K, all in. but you could do similar with about a $5K CNC.. there may be a $2K CNC that can also do the same. the difference would be in the size of the machine, and they have a $$$ spindle (pwn is good stuff), but you could do the same sticking a palm router in there ($200) which a lot of people do. you don't need the big spindles unless you're going to be doing huge pieces in hard wood and running it all day long. beginner system isn't that $$ at all. good luck! :-D their machine is a onefinity. great product. they have smaller cheaper machines as well, if you don't plan to stick a door into your work area. :-D

@@CrudelyMade but I could make it with a $30,000 one right? Cause I have a $70,000 one. Just confirming more expensive machines can make it.

@@CoffeyCustomBuilds I think you have to size the models up for the larger machines, and work in harder materials like bronze and stone. but.. you'll be making cooler spoons, so it all works out. ;-)
