5:25 That's called a dotted eight rhythm. In a triplet rhythm all notes are equally long, but in a dotted eight rhythm you have two notes with a 3/16 lenght and one with a 1/8 length :)

5:26 "what's called a triplet rythm" actually it's three quadruplet based notes with the last one shorted by one sixteenth to fit the two beats. This rythm is straight not swing like triplets which are three evenly spaced notes over 2 beat.

1) Make your chords ascending arpeggios with a fairly pizzicato sound 2) Make your chords pizzicato (by turning down the sustain to zero and having a fairly quick decay) and have them repeated over a sustained version of the chord. 3) Pizzicato those chords and repeat with a 'dotted' rhythm (actually a syncopated rhythm - see 4:04 onwards - that sounds pretty cool) 4) Triplet repeated chords! (triplet quarters/crochets if your beat is quarters/crochets) (make sure you've properly even notes - hard to tell, but looks like the example here has slightly shorter last notes?) 5) Pizzicato counter-melody with lots of nice echo and reverb Bottom line: don't just sit on those chords. Repeat 'em with some rhythm you like or big echo.
