Holy sheep shit Louise 🙌 all of these are strikingly beautiful!! That bubbles technique is so cool. I’ve done dragon skin tumblers with UV & bubbles but never thought of doing it on smaller items like jewelry pieces.. you always think of things differently 🤩 I used to love Cloisonné/glass & enamel work too. My start was in stained glass & then any & everything glass. ~~Love seeing resin work with ‘other’ inclusions & techniques like only you can do!! And what about the flaming pieces?! Yessss show us more details when you have time. Those flames works are super classy for jewelry. One would not be thinking it was made that way. Always a pleasure to watch you create your beautiful art pieces. I’ll definitely be making some of them. Thanks for sharing lovely lady😻💯🌹🌹🌹

@LouiseSingletonCreations

I haven’t had any UV resin yellowing yet but I’m sure it would happen eventually, especially if it was in the sun a lot. No it’s not just for jewellery but it is something that I would only recommend using for small projects .

The last time I used that brand it never cured and is super sticky. Any ideas about that?
@LouiseSingletonCreations
2 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. All I can think of is that you may have used pigments that were either to dark and they hindered the uv light from penetrating or perhaps a pigment that just didn’t work well with UV resin - I’ve had it happen with alcohol ink before (but that was a different brand of resin) sorry if I’m telling you things you already know, it’s hard to help when I don’t know the whole story. Oh also if your lamp is very small and weak it could cause it too.

I just love your videos! I always learn something. Thank you for the tip about UV resin stickiness and isopropyl alcohol. I’ve touched multiple pendants and dulled the face due to it being sticky. Not knowing what else to do.. I just kept leaving it under the lamp for longer and longer.. it didn’t help. All of your projects turned out beautiful! I can’t wait to try them.

An alternative to removing the tackyness from cured UV resin: After two minutes of curing place the piece into a clear bowl of water. Then hit your piece with about 90 seconds - 2 minutes of uv light. Start with a distance of half a foot moving closer during the duration of the above minutes. Once done your tack should be gone. Let me know if this helps 😁

I apologize, my channel/handle is “The Other Side” where I will post your video/s in their own playlist/lists unless you object. However, something terrifying has happened…my carrier locked my SIM card for no or unknown reasons despite the bill being paid early as it has been for nearly 30 years. The other 2 phones I pay for are not locked, and I think I have been hacked as I can’t get thru to my carrier who is saying my usernames/passwords are invalid, as is my phone number and my last name. They won’t allow me beyond the AI w/o signing in, and I have no other way of calling them. They sent me security codes three times, and I never received a single one. I cannot leave my house as my son has had my car for several years, essentially trapping me. My point is, KZitem won’t allow me onto my channel bc they can’t authenticate it, and I don’t know what to do. Your talent is amazing, and I am so thankful you chose to share it with the world. That is a generous and wonderful thing to do, speaking highly of your character. Well done!

Hi love your resin tips and tutorials!! I love the bubble effect, I tried it on something very similar to the earrings you did My bubbles just immediately start popping More and it is popping by the time I get to the next section.And would I end up with it's nothing like yours.
