These are my 5 go-to exercises that help decompress the lower back and can give you quick and instant pain relief.
They're also easy to do and can be done with minimal equipment from home. I will start with something basic and then progress to the slightly harder ones and the more advanced ones later.
Exercises
1. Child-pose with different reaches, do 30 seconds; if you are comfortable, go for 60.
2. Edge of bed Downward dog decompression, play with arm position
3. Reverse it so the chest is on the table. Reach with arms over the bed like in the thumbnail.
4 Decompression standing.
5. Decompression with a band on the wall.
