Whether exactly intended or not, the hair is very cool. Sensible, helpful video. Those are smart ways to prepare for marriage...and then LIVE your marriage, since the need for kind but open communication, sensible money management, and having meaning and meaningful relationships (beyond the relationship with your spouse) in your life all continue throughout your life and marriage. Thinking about the latter...outside of his job, my father vested 100 percent of his existence in my mother. No friends, no activities other than those he did with my mother. Then she died suddenly, and he outlived her by 5 1/2 years....and those years were AWFUL. Quite the object lesson for me.

Point number 1 God is taking me through my past sins and issues I thought I was good on and got over before but came back up again when stress and pressure came. He revealed deeper things about my heart that I never knew before and is using even the filth of sin to teach me just how truly free we are with our choices and just don’t appreciate that fact in the small decisions we make in our lives day to day. Point 5 I am struggling to find meaning and purpose in my life as I know God called me to marriage as a man. You give such a perfect example with your sister hitting so close to me loud and clear that God is telling me something. I just wonder how does people have the energy to do all these different kinds of things balanced with work, school, etc. I just am always mentally tired and physically exhausted because I have no one I can trust in my life and be truly open with going it alone in the world.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey so vulnerably!❤️❤️ I think finding a therapist could be so helpful! When I have a lot going on mentally and things I’m working through, I definitely feel like I am exhausted all the time until I can start processing it with someone I trust. And then I’m able to find other outlets and things that bring meaning and actually energize me. (Which will look different for each person! For some those things might be stuff you do alone or at home, rather than going somewhere)

Good video, Tiff. If someone goes to therapy, he or she should do it for his/herself for the right reasons. Not to impress others on social media. We all need get better with finances, generous, make others feel judgement free, love the things we do, and life is worth living for. Have a great week! ☀️

That’s a good point!! It should be for ourselves, not as a show. ❤️❤️

I really liked these ideas! I especially liked how you brought up how Christian women need to learn to state our needs and wants in low-pressure ways. I would add to casually research about the gender that you want to marry and ways that they are different from you. I can’t resent someone for being male, and they can’t resent me for being female - as long as we both have healthy communication skills and respect.
