✅Exercise: Training a muscle helps in increasing insulin sensitivity at the muscle site.
✅Reduce weight : You are not obese because you are insulin resistant, you are insulin resistant because you are obese .. reduce 10% of your body weight if you are overweight/obese
✅Manage Stress : Chronic stress increases insulin resistance. Therefore, look for ways that help you manage stress well like meditation, walks, playing sports, reading, journaling etc
✅Regular check ups : Effective management of diabetes is a team effort between the person with diabetes and their doctor .
