I hate hot tubs! 👋They’re one of the least sanitary things in the hotel world! They’re also they health equivalent of giving yourself a fever- which, if dehydrated or drinking or a child- doesn’t help anything.

In 2011 my friend and I visit DW for 8 days. During that time it was my birthday and I indeed received a "Birthday Pin." During the entire day of wearing that pin I had one cast member wish me a Happy Birthday. That was the only "bonus" I received during the entire day. I might add, this was the first time we visited DW and didn't know where things were and how to use left-over snacks and meals on our dining plan.

I have always started in Canada and I didn’t realize I was bucking the trend. I will say, though, I start in Canada because I find it to be the…least interesting pavilion. No offense intended towards actual Canada. The pavilion just doesn’t offer much. I do it first rather than save it for a disappointing finale.

I guess I've always liked watching the world burn, because I always start in Canada so I can get to my beautiful Mexican pavilion last before I go find my fireworks post! 🤣 This is also the best route to go if you're set on Drinking Around the World, because starting off with tequila for the day can ruin that goal real fast for most people. Save the best for last, it's so much nicer to chill and people-watch in Mexico after a walk around the showcase vs Canada, I promise.

A.J., my dear, you are SO CORRECT about traveling counter-clockwise around Epcot's World Showcase! I have ALWAYS started in the Canada pavilion because a huge majority choose to begin in Mexico. The Canada, United Kingdom, France, and Morocco pavilions are scarcely crowded. I usually encounter the clockwise masses by the time I reach Japan. Listen to A.J., folks!

I took your advice on always carrying poncho in Disney World on vacation this past weekend even though The weather said it would be completely clear and we were saved on our final night at Disney. It poured and we were one of the few with panchos!!! Thank you so much for always looking out for us. And keeping us updated. Everyone always asks how I always have a perfect Disney World vacation and I tell them DFB Guide!

Walt wanted no alcohol in his parks; no good for the kids. Shame; Ino! Why Disneyland is the ONLY Magic Kingdom and STILL corporate cremates care and sneaks it in slowly as Walt turns in his grave. Bummer if the truth hurts but Disney is "Walt or Die." Keep the bars and booze out of the parks and the drunk people away from the kids! Go get drunk in Disney Springs and DowntTown Disney😉

I personally would recommend starting world showcase in in Italy lol 😈 - if you weren't aware already somewhere behind Italy and the Great American Showcase is the staging and setup area for the parades and performances that travel through the parks. As a student I performed at the Opening Parade for Epcot on New Years Eve and after we were done we entered the parks right between Italy and America. Getting gelato with no lines after sweating in the parade was magnificent, I got to leisurely stroll through Japan with no crowds, and I got to France before the worst of the line got there. Of course, if your not a performer the International Gateway is also a good option to start in France and beat the crowds by going towards Japan.

It’s so weird how in every other park we learn human habit gravitates to right yet epcot is such a Mexico 1st town. However not for me solely bc I can’t even touch or smell tequila until I’ve had a few in me.

I got one of those buttons and I need up with a free cookie because the person at the Hollywood studio skin felt Noley sorry when she handed over some ice due to me running into the wall that was partially hidden on the rock and roller coaster, but also wished me a happy birthday on top of that. I had to hold a cup of ice to my nose for the rest of the night. Long story short, my husband was trying to tell me to watch out for the wall, but I can’t hear him over the loud music and ran into it. It was very uncomfortable writing if though we were riding to Sweet emotion.

Hi AJ! Funny you should mention the lack of potatoes until the 17th century, and how Thanksgiving would be lacking terribly without them: We got those from the Native Americans! So, of course they didn't make it to European cultures (and by extension "American" culture) until we met them!
