Thank you for sharing you experience. Price 1400 is very reasonable but there are plenty of competitors like trek520, fuji touring, kona sutra. Entry level riverside tuoring520 for 900 euro is based on the same frame looks more promising and saves 500 eur in pocket. frameset costs for 400 eur for own build. What is you opinion about stock tires? What thickness is available to mount?

I have noticed a lot of products have massively increased in price in decathlon in the UK, where I would go in and by products I now just buy from elsewhere online. And like you say that price is a huge difference what has gone from somewhere with good quality products cheaper than the competition is now more expensive than the competition!?!?

This is bike is pretty stirdy and stiff without weight. Once the bike was fully loaded it was much smoother and felt at home

I curious how the frame will behave whilst going downhill fullspeed (normal roads) when fully loaded with panniers in the front (lowrider) and the back. I read about the occurence of shaking which could cause frame breakage on the long run. This would mean that the frame would not be stiff enough for the job.
