I knew about the conversion kit from a Missile Command to a Crystal Castle, as I bought one. I never bought a new Millipede though and that conversion kit I didn;t really think about since I never owned a Millipede new!

Dunderheadphoto11 Crystal Castles was a terrific game...we made a little money on it...but I believe we never actually made enough to PAY for the game! I only started making money in this business when I started HOME SALES! I never had any good locations---the big vendors had them--with their large commissions and loans they gave out!

LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: The large trackballs in Atari machines are candlepin bowling balls. (Made by EPCO, which makes Duck/Fivepin and candlepin balls.)

Had one boss like Todd it's a rarity. Get more things done right with such bosses. Course I'm sure many of the pinball games wish they had Todd because he's such a great salesman. (Now Get Out? There's nothing wrong with the song don't know why they have issues :P

I prefer Millipede to Centipede... Maybe it's just memories but I always remember seeing these in the Arcades. Must have been Centipede... I had no idea these were not popular cabs.

Growing up I loved Centipede, but don't think I played Millipede in the arcade too much. Now I have both at home and I prefer Millipede these days. It's Centipede's manic brother- a perfect sequel that is SO much fun!!!

We decided to steer clear of mechanical machines---as they tend to be a service nightmare down the road...and almost impossible to fix "over the phone". None of my guys ever learned them...I CAN repair them, but its so time consuming to find that ONE switch not reading. And then two weeks later, its another switch!

Does anyone here know where I could pick up a millipede here in Missouri by chance? I have only ever wanted one arcade cabinet as they are pretty big and heavy so I can only have one in my home so I figured if I could only have one it would be millipede. Does not have to be new really just want one! Id be sure to replace the monitor, RAM, counters for h sync and vertical sync, check for vertical and horizontal collapse as well as RAM errors and all the like just to have this wonderful game!

It sounds like Atari was imitating Hollywood byt trying a remake of Centipede. I l.ov e the statue comment like in the movie "The Wizard of OZ"
