They didn't just come to buy food; they were also looking for a touch of nostalgia and peace in that stall. The seller seemed really friendly but hardworking, and the customers always left with a smile on their faces. It's truly a lovely atmosphere.

I would love to find something like this on the way home from the bar. You get a taco truck if you're lucky, but the prices here in the US are crazy right now.

I love how friendly everyone is to one another. Its like they are all a big family and they genuinely like going there to eat
Es sin duda un gran video, no solo por mostrar lo sencillo y felices que hace el señor con su comida, sino por ver todo el orden y la ganas de cocinar, desde llegar muy temprano para tener todo listo y en su forma de pensar. Gran video
I really like how he enjoys his work, I am a chef myself and would like to start my own snack bar this year. I will definitely visit him when I fly to Japan in 2-3 years.

Immer wieder erstaunlich zu sehen, wie an einem leeren Platz etwas so schönes entsteht. Wo gutes Essen, Tradition und Menschen zusammenkommen. Sehr fleißig der Herr.

Since i first watched this video, i have gotten engaged to my girlfriend of 4 years and now, today, i am asking her if she would like to go with me to the Hirsohima area to visit the Peace museum and Mount Misen. Of course we'll have to eat, and i truly hope i can experience this food stall in person! It's been a dream of mine ever since i watched it. I don't speak the language, but i can smile and enjoy a drink with some ramen and the ambiance. We live in a magical time! Thank you for the videos, i love them.

I really like how much humility this man has in his work. The food looks great, and I'm sure it tastes delicious. I feel that a lot of ramen places in North America have kind of lost their roots and can be excessively expensive and pretentious.

It is nothing short of simply charming. When I lived in Japan, I really liked to go to those stalls or very small corner shops for Ramen. I found them much much more pleasing than most restaurants on big shoppingstreets like Hondori in Hiroshima. Of course its not top notch, it also might not be 102% clean, but thats not the point. These small stalls are the same idea as those back home in Germany at big festivals or just very lively city centers.

Planning a trip to Japan with some friends. Hiroshima was on the list (maybe Nagasaki instead we aren't sure yet) since we are American and we think it would be sobering to see the history of what we did there. Maybe we will need to lighten the mood after by going here. Looks really good and more comfy than all the fancy places we plan on going to Tokyo. If its anything like America in this regard it's probably just as good if not better food too.
