Back on 27th June 2001 a move to Wigan CRDC from Cardiff Canton, 56046 is seen absolutley belting it away from Hereford with 37185,225 and what looks like still operational 37254. The driver dumped the brakes on arrival and lead for a impressive pull away. Both 185 and 225 were scrapped at Booths whereas 37254 is now aptley named Cardiff Canton and is in full use with Colas Rail.
As comments suggested it’s bene confirmed as 37264 rather than 254. 264 is preserved in the North Yorkshire Moors railway. And subsequently the class 56 was scrapped too.
