i am a convicted 32 times felon and ex gang member, i was a idiot i will say it for you and while i was in san quitin doing 9 years i found a childhood passion for music and riding. it can be dirt bikes atv's but it has to be fast real fast, i need that rush well i been out a year now and i have went from suzuki 250 quadrunner, to Suzuki RM 125 dirt bike, to Yamaha Blaster raced out, (Bad Ass) to a Kawasaki 220 KDX that i am racing out now. and what i found is my destiny my souls bestfriend, i have found heaven inside the motor of the bolted beast and the depth of my soul knows no bounds. i have been through alot of pain in my lost life on earth it is like i just realized what its like to live, i feel like i been trapped somewhere else for all this time or i had my eyes closed and now my third eye is wide open (not my brown eye.I know what you were thinking) i am now seeing life with a new profoundly wonderful light and i can do anything figure anything out i can fly. i find myself lost in the sands off time just the roar of the beast of mine, holding on with the hands of time and im a human from earth and the earth is mine. i know it sounds crazy but it is just that crazy what i didn't see this whole time and now im a kid who wakes up locked in the biggest candy store in the world. i will become one of the best to ever ride this desert i will put my life on the line for the chance at flying, i love this new found music that my bolted beast makes it sings to my soul when i pull the throttle the back end does a little waddle then im shooting through time no one is there just me but all can see me as i fly free, im in love with the bolted beast and what it does for me and how it sets my soul truly free, truly free. please like if you read thisand enjoyed or felt my words, i am 38 years old and i can now honezstly say im a man. love all of you and hope you to found a way to set your soul free. ITS AMAZING!!!!!

Lorenzo.... Good for you .... Glad your life has found some peace in it.... As people we make mistakes... Sometimes some of us make them more than once before something smacks us upside the head to wake our brain up!!! Stay the course and never look back!! Just remember that looking back serves no purpose but counter productivity.... On the track you never look behind you...you always look at what's in front of you!!

I don't ride dirt bikes I was just wondering how you guys judge the jumps at places like that?
@fate_rhino
8 жыл бұрын
Just through years of experience, you learn how far a jump will through you based off its shape, steepness, etc, also you have to judge the soil you are riding on, like pure sand for example requires about a whole gear higher it seems to me at least, so a 4th gear wide open jump in the sand dunes could be done in 3rd gear wide open if it were normal dirt, even dry dirt. But start small and work your way up

Late 90s early 2000s were pretty wild times there.. It started turning into a popular thing instead of a cultural thing.. All the 'Desert Gone Wild' videos, 'Crusty demons' etc. pumped it up. It got way more dangerous as crowds increased and machines began to be bigger cheaper faster with stupid people who don't know how to ride, nor understood the common laws of riding in the desert to keep everyone safe. *You sure take your chances these days going out on Thanksgiving New year's or President's day weekend.. especially if u got kids

I went in the mid late 80's holidays were always a circus but go south deep into the dunes the the circus sticks to the usual places MX bikes were king on open dunes light weight is always better on sand. Sand drag buggies big V8's stuck to flat sand drags never see them on open dunes they get stuck too easy heavy as hell steep bowels that's why they just hang to those flat areas places I avoided. They spend 100k on them now everyone is driving RZR's because 4WD can get out on open dunes. Back in the day VW rails could go on open dunes they were light weight not 150mph rocket ships on flat sand.

I was just a Bush Bash show off Down Under or evan Temporary Australian but now I am over 50 years old with many broken bones from a road bike Epilepsy crash & all I want to do for my soul is ride my Trikes in our State forest or Sand Dunes any chance I get.I tried many sports & hobbies but I alway come home to Off road free spirit riding

Nothing faster or more exciting then MX bike with a paddle tires on the open dunes. While there are some really fast sand rails they are stuck to flat sand drag racing which is boring as hell. Back in the 80's had a KX500 ported bunch of work done tuned for the dunes flying over the open dunes was amazing this was in the days when wouldn't see that many there. We go deep into the dunes south few times got back running on fumes big bore bikes on the dunes chugged the fuel back then 2 strokes did. If you ran out at the bottom of a bowl might as well leave it go for gas impossible to tow someone in the dunes.
