Well, I have to admit this video is part of the reason I got my 2014. And I am beyond impressed with the cars build quality, and I'll say I planned on keeping it stock... Buuuut, thats not gonna happen so reliability is no-longer a concern as the engine/transmission/suspension is all getting ripped out and thrown in my 88 Dakota, because why the not? lol But anyway the car is beyond what I expected it to be, so I feel confident building it to the moon and back! Anyone whos looking to get one, defiantly pull the trigger these cars are popular for a reason and the majority of them are very well taken care of because everyone who has one loves it.

Before I bought my 6th gen Camaro, I considered buying a 5th gen. But the one thing I couldn't accept about the 5th gen is that the interior is primitive and the temperature controls are confusing. If you didn't know it was a 2010 or newer, you'd think it was built in the nineties. But I really like what Chevrolet did with the 6th gen. They brought the interior up to today's standards.

That is a serious code to be throwing out. Most engines today are interference engines meaning The Pistons can strike the valves and cause severe engine damage if the timing belt/chain breaks. I think GM recommends 80k as time to change the belt/chain on the V6s but I am not 100% sure on that so checking with a dealership or the owners manual should provide you the information. If that engine has never had it done your more than double the 80k. If your getting that code at all, Hard driving it could cause you some serious and expensive issues in the near future to the tune of full engine replacement. I only commented to be sure your aware of the potential risk to the engine. If it has thrown that code out it will be stored in the ECM. Just because that warning has disappeared does not mean it fixed it's self. Hopefully your engine is still running at this point. I would address that warning asap. Good luck. I own a 2017 50th SS and I love it. cheers :)

Sorry for the late reply man but it depends on what gear and RPM you're at. in first gear anything above 1500 it'll throw you back in the seat for sure. to get the most out of second you'll need to be at at least 3500 RPM and it'll pull pretty strong at least for the manual. the autos gearing is a bit less aggressive.

My friend bought his 2010 SS a few years ago with 50k miles. He put on a Borla exhaust with headers and got a street tune. He drives it like he stole it, daily. It has over 120k miles and the only thing he's ever replaced is the clutch. He's needing some struts and shit now, which is typical maintenance shit. Great car as long as the maintenance is done. So, ask for receipts of all maintenance and if they don't have them, go to the next.

I have a 2015 with 230k and still going strong. The majority of the repairs I made on the vehicle were because of two accidents. New rotors because I'm driving like a mechanic, I had to remake the original alternator, replace the ac condenser and compressor and reinstalled new front sway bars because I hit a mattress on the highway, which also caused a slow leak on my ac condenser that led to problems with my ac compressor. The car is a good so I got the 2020 one.

I have a 2013 Camaro LS (v6) with 384,000 miles. It's been parked for the last 9 months or it would have wound up another 10k per month since then. 3 sets of front wheel bearings (easy/inexpensive), new suspension front and rears around 320k (inexpensive), and at 384k it needs a new dual mass flywheel and clutch ($500). A deer ran into the car, so it's currently parked until I get the clutch and body work scheduled. Around 300k miles, the alternator gave out. I also replaced the starter and battery at that time. The lumbar support gave out in the drivers seat early on, but still comfortable. Otherwise, I expect it to go through 500-600k miles on this v6 engine. I change the oil every 10-12k miles since new, it's done just fine. Mobile 1 synthetic.

kzitem.info/news/bejne/tKSvuqqLp4VhanY There's a link to my clutch and dual mass flywheel replacement. At the end, I threw an image of the mileage showing 372k miles for a 2013 Camaro LS v6. It's definitely a great car and runs like new now, I think this engine will go for 500k easily or more. I change the oil every 10-12k miles. Mobile 1 synthetic every time, 15k formula. It has started to burn a quart of oil every 8k miles now, so the rings might be getting a bit worn. I don't baby it at all.

I just 81,000 on my 2015 Camaro V6. Only issue i had is the Air Conditioning failing. And thats super expensive. Cost me $1,500. But everything else i replaced brake fluid, transmission fluid, rear differential fluid, brakes, regular oil changes. Only thing left to change soonish is the power steering fluid, cooling fluid. Then the car is essentially solid for the next 50,000 miles.

I own a 5th Gen Black and Black SS 6.2. Paid $36K New. I have 119K+ miles. It has been a daily driver (70 miles round trip a day). I have owned it since April 2010. It was built in February 2010. I have only had to do normal maintenance and had to replace the high pressure hose on the A/C. Runs great and still gets almost 20 miles per gallon on Premium.

I bought a yellow 2010 RS about a year ago, year and a half actually. Had 93000 on it when I got it. Just turned over 100k about a week ago. Love the car. Hate the f'ing air bag system though. Passenger sensors are atrocious on these. 300 bux for the part only. Luckily I have a son thats a mechanic. So no worries there. No transmission woes at all. Although I kind of wish it was an automatic. I'm not a teenager any longer and am lazy, so I hate shifting. Other than that , great car, no other issues. Great review. Thanks...
