you actually can make a 5x5 that is fully functional and can break into seperate cuboids. You could just use magnets.

And also, if you did make a 5x5x5 of jut magnets, that would turn horrible, if you saw reviews on the magnetic 4x4x4 dice cube. Also, it would be really expensive for all of the large sized magnets with stickers also. Also, if you want your 5x5x5 magnetic cube to turn good, you would have to have some magnets weaker/stronger than others. In conclusion, using magnets for this method is unefficient, really expensive, and a lot of work. And if you think about it, you are doing this much for just a 5x5x5 made of magnets.
