And so it begins! Water Temps are finally coming up to a degree that provides a consistant Sheepshead bite. I wasn't going to fish this evening, but I was watching the Atlantic City ocean buoy and I almost didn't believe it when I saw it because it was reading 65 degrees. I just knew I would get a good bite! On the previous weekend the incoming tide was reading 59 degrees, but when I got to the bridge on this day it was at 67 and rising! I won't waste my time anymore in the colder water temps when there's other species biting, but this took less than 5 minutes for the first fish! Got some awesome footage on this trip and am way excited about this season. Now, if only the darn wind would calm down! Please check back for more Sheepshead from South Jersey YAK Fishing!
