Why does everyone like broadside so much if there looking away I shoot right at the back of their head if there looking me I shoot right under there head though the neck and spine and broad side I shoot the neck right under the head is almost always instant death for them with the littlest amount of wasted meat for me
@sportsman48

9x45mm Morse because there is less chance of a large kill area on a head or neck shot. I'd rather miss 2" in the lungs than 2" on a head. you have much less vital zone to play with.

Head/Spine shots ruin the meat. Cardio/pulm shots are just as quick and effective but they tend to bleed out much better and the meat does not get so liver tasting.

Beautiful harvest. I would have taken that shot as well in as close as 248yds with a 6.5 CM without hesitation. A good shooter should have zero problems making a shot inside of 5" at 250yds if they have practiced with their rifle, have a good rifle capable of repeating POI, quality scope and mounting arrangement with Loc-tite and proper torque, with solid ammunition that is consistent, and plenty of trigger time. People that haven't shot much at even these distances tend to think they are really far, and they are for the plinker/untrained shooter, but are child's play for a shooter who has even a morning of professional instruction.

That deer wasn’t dead right away. If you watch, the deer was still moving. Even if shot through both lungs, the deer would be dead in less than a couple of minutes. Just like a sleeper hold on a person, you disrupt the blood flow to the brain, you go to sleep I less than a minute. When you destroy the lungs, you disrupt the blood flow to the brain. The deer goes out and that’s it.

after reading many comments it seems many viewers as well as the shooter have little or no regard for the animal, it was left to suffer when a back up shot was called for to dispatch it without it lying critically wounded.
