I own a 991.2 GT3, and it’s an awesome car, and I personally think it looks better than a 992. The tough part about official comparisons of Porsche lap times is that it doesn’t take into account the newer tires. This 991 with Cup 2 R’s (like the 992 has when tested) has a very different lap time than testing it in 2018 when these cars came out with way less sticky rubber.

And that is how to drive a Porsche. I'm not just talking about the absolute fearlessness - watch how early he gets on the gas on corner entry. That's the secret to these cars. All these people braking up to the very last second are totally missing the point. These cars need to have the weight on the rear tyres on corner entry - then they're on rails at ridiculous speeds like these. 👏

@@patrickbateman7122 I came from FWD originally as well (modded Volvo 850 T-5R lol see my old vids) it's not rocket science they all have 4 wheels :) The Ring is unique in that you tend to just not push as hard and leave a bit more time for the car to settle itself before entering the high speed corners, on a GP style track you tend to be more at the edge of grip and not waste any time at all between coming off the brakes and getting on it again.
