Another excellent information video! Especially the finance office up sale of extended warranties. If you buy it, don’t finance it.

A Chevy dealer tried to add on the Advertising Fee to me. I asked what this was, and he said all the dealers agreed to that fee so they could pay for the ads. I said, "I did not see any ads, so I'm not going to pay it. Do you want to add a line item for your electric bill, too?"

Don't fall for the games. Review your contracts and paperwork from the purchase. That should tell you exactly how to cancel the plan and whether or not it is possible. The dealer don't want to help because they will lose money but you may not need them if you can go directly to the source. Unless the bank sold you a product they will not be able to help. This dealer is playing games and do not do business with them again.

I got a question bro I watch a lot of your videos . So I’m in a 2020 Honda Accord I got 6months ago I don’t want it at all anymore I rushed into the deal originally . I Want to carmax yesterday (like you said) they offered me 1k more then it’s worth. Thinking of grabbing this Charger I been wanting but my monthly payments looking like 1k a month compared to 600$ on my Honda . Credit not good and no consigner , Just got a new raise at work So I could afford it but do you think it’s worth it ? I don’t wana kill myself financially, & when can I ask to lower my payments? 6months ? 1 year? 2 years? Help me out G you keep it real much love 💯🤞🏽

Thanks for supporting the channel. It depends on your priorities and financial goals. Take me for example. My priority is investing and I have a goal of growing my investments to the point that they are producing more money than I make in my day job. I also have a goal to become 1st generation wealthy. With those in mind, I would not sign up for a $1000 per month car payment because that would take me away from my goals. In fact, I may sell that honda to carmax, buy something cheap and start investing that $600 per month. Obvious you get to do whatever you want but you asked me and I would suggest that you do what's best for you 5-10 years from now and not what you think is best for the moment. Last thing, you will feel the same about the Charger as you do the Honda within 6-12 months but that $1,000 payment will be there for years to come. As your goals and priorities in life change that payment will be locked in. Proceed with caution!

@@DiamondEdwards thanks for replying . Yeah your right . I held off on the charger way more important things in my future like owning a house and after hearing them prices all week I’m almost happy with what I’m paying rn as I can afford it no problem and keep my extra money I just got with my new raise instead of blowing it. but dammit that car is calling my name . Thanks for the advice , keep up the good work and I’ll still be tuned into your vids soaking up game . Let’s be 1st gen wealthy!

Another question , does LEASING a car and making on time monthly payments up your credit score ?
@DiamondEdwards
3 жыл бұрын
35% of your score is made up of your payment history. Yes, making you debt payments on time will help your score. Caution, don't prioritize your credit score over your net worth. You will realize as you get older that the latter is what really matters.

If you can get the car and pay it off in 2 years or less, I say get it. I will pay off my camaro before 2 year of ownership.

Is it at all possible to go back to dealership if you were not aware that you were paying for ACC fee and RESISTALL extended warranty as was to be covered by them and now I see they added it into my pmts.

Read the contracts for everything you purchased. Most extras can be returned with a certain number of days or for a prorated refund but this is not guaranteed. It depends on the contract you signed. How much in extras did you purchase? Have you found them at better prices or decided you didn't need them?
@lindasanders9978

All 5 things listed where are they listed on the contract

If not, you should always request an itemized invoice so you know exactly what you're buying.

Help I bought a car and they gave it to me msrp but dealer tricked me into getting free oil changes for 25k miles so 5 yrs but dude didn’t tell me that it added to my principal 1k more then we agreed…. Oil changes are really cheap in my area so im pissed can I call and cancel that add on ? Even though they already sent it over to the bank ? He got me with it will lower your interest rate if you get this thing so it will pretty much be free ……
@DiamondEdwards
Жыл бұрын
Most add-ons can be refunded, but read your contract and it should spell it out for you. The lies and games they play is off the charts. Nothing you buy should lower your interest rate, in fact that may be illegal (not a lawyer).
@Lifewithjavs

@@DiamondEdwards okay thank you! I emailed the manager and asked nicely if I can get a refund for that add on and remove it, do you think they can if it went into my financing loan already? Do you think it could change my monthly payment or will it stay the same?
@DiamondEdwards
Жыл бұрын
The refund should come directly to you and then you could use this money to pay down the loan. Unfortunately, this will not lower your payment because that was set at the beginning based on your interest rate, amount financed and repayment length. The only way to lower your payment is to refinance a lower amount, interest rate, term or some combination.

Funny thing is you people think car dealerships have no right making profit😂😂😂😂how tf you think they stay in business....there's not as much profit in cars as you people seem to think. Yet you feel your entitled to some huge discount. Yet your cell phone provider charges you more bullshit fees than any dealership ever and you blindly hand over your money every month ans never question it, don't feel like you're entitled to a "better deal" and don't look at them as "dishonest or scam artists"😂😂😂now why is that? Maybe if consumers didn't tell more lies and try to low ball every dealership then these other fees wouldn't be necessary.
