I used to not have a problem with water, but ever since my surgery (I'm 10 months post op with SADI-S) I gag when I drink water (any and all water even if I flavor it for some reason I gag -_-"). So I drink the zero sugar powerades (2 a day) and the occasional propel and it keeps me hydrated. I have lower sugar oatmeal in the morning using Fairlife milk to up the protein to 10g because I can't stand eggs (never have been able to stomach eggs). You're doing amazing and I just wanted to say congrats so far on your weight loss and keep it up! I'm 28 pounds from my goal weight so I feel like I'm doing good too (113 pounds lost since surgery 181 pounds lost overall) even though the frequent stalls I have due to my hypothyroidism is a pain in the behind. Though I have the oddest question for you... are your cramps worse during that time of the month because mine are like 3x worse and I'm just curious if I'm alone in this (sorry if that's a bit much, but it's pretty damn painful)

Congratulations on your success!! And good job working to find ways to stay hydrated. It’s definitely a struggle!! My cramps are not worse. Hi, this video was helpful also adding your doctors comments was excellent 👌. I hope you are well and please update when you can. I've been looking for people that have gone through the VSG process and notice that they stop making videos and Its worrisome because it leaves the watcher wondering if there where health complications. I pray you are happy and healthy and doing what it was you did this for 🫶🙂

With people that stall, do you think/know if they are also working out ? Will this stall still happen? I have my surgery on the 19th but I bought and set up my home gym.

It will happen regardless of exercise! Stalls are a normal part of the process.

You’re welcome!! Yes I have! It was the worst 3-6 months but now it has slowed down. :) I’ve been sure to eat my protein, take my vitamins, and use biotin shampoo :)

I am 3 weeks post op and just started working out. Have you been active on a consistent basis while post op? Also I’m struggling with eating since now I’m on mushy foods. Like I’m never really hungry only once a day i feel hungry. I don’t want to not loose the weight 😭 because I’m not eating. So when you refer to eating multiple times a day can that be something as simple as yogurt or does it have to be real meals?

Yogurt and mushy foods that still have protein are perfectly acceptable!! Often times one of my meals is a dannon light and fit Greek yogurt! It is hard to figure out your apetite at first. But I promise, if you make yourself eat several meals a day, it will do good for your body. If you don’t eat enough, it is a lot easier for bad habits to slip in cause your body is craving energy. I have not gone to the gym consistently since surgery, but I have stay pretty active as far as walking around and being on my feet a lot. :)

Yes I’d love to! I got a full time job right after making this video, so things have been hectic! But I have time off this next week, so that’s one of the things I have on my to do list.
