Agree with Pomodoro, I ain’t following their advice to focus 25min and rest 5 min. I always rest when I feel I want to rest. I can get in deep work for about 1 hours then walk around. The pomodoro feels like a disruption

I agree but I still use Pomodoro but if want to focus I just skip the rest minute lol

i’ve personally had pretty good success with it, and either way moving your body every 25 minutes prevents bad posture and is good for your health

@@tgreyzero2790 True, everyone is different. Oh yeah I recommend everyone stand up and walk every 30 min. Health is important but I didn’t have this habit😅

Health is number 1. Without health you can’t do other things. Never eat junk foods, sleep good, exercise exercise.

Big exception to the “no music” rule is if you’re in an environment where background noises will be *more* distracting. Particularly if you have something like misophonia

true whenever i happened to study in a coffee shop, if people are talking nearby the earphone is a must have and loud music must be played or else i literally cant focus😂🙉

about the pomodoro timer , its not true becoz it gives you the option to change the timer.. i use 50 minutes of focus and 10 mins of rest on normal days and 2 hrs of focus and 15 mins of break on productive days and when i'm diverted of unproductive i use 25 mins of focus and 5 min of rest.. so i think u should see it.

actually the definition of pomodoro is this particular time order, and he says the right thing is just your app allows to choose how much time you want, but original pomodoro technic is all about this time ratio 25/5 min ( and it won't be called pomodoro just by saying wow we have invented for you a technic wich gives your random time for focus and rest) I also don't find pomodoro technic helpful because I loose focus in this 5 min break, and simultaneously it's just not enough for me to rest.✨
