Emotional abuse is a very tricky matter. You may be abused on daily basis and actually never realise it. Therefore looking for the signs addressed in this video may be really helpful for every person to identify the patterns or trends of emotional abuse even when it is latent.

This person who mentally abuse me projects his evil on me and gaslight me. He turns others against me and opposite, triangulate, gossip. Today he tried to make me feel unworthy but didn't succeed. He behaves so innocent when in fact he is a predator. He feeds of someone elses sense of inferiority and unsecurity and even if person has bad reaction on his provocations. Then he enjoys proving how nicer person he is and that person isn't.

When you become 'best friends' with a person and then they are the opposite from who you met you were being Mirrored. He was seeing and mirroring back all of your wonderful qualities he doesn't really have at all. As this person systematically abuses you and makes you unhappy he also shifts to begin being himself and not mirroring you. Then, when you're completely unhappy and feel like you're walking on eggshells, he'll be able to let him go myself be the real him (usually away from others where he doesn't have to pretend). There's no more mirroring because he attacks all of those good things to get you to hide inside so what's he going to mirror? Well that and the inclination was to mirror you to reel you in. He doesn't really want to be that person you met at all. Who you think you met and loved doesn't really exist at all. The one you broke up with?that's the REAL him. When you find a person who is authentic and you become best friends as well as share mutual love and respect it will be better than this 'friend' ever was.

My own Mother was involved with a mentally abusive man many years ago. She's no longer married to him & the guy passed away in 2011 (good) He would often accuse her of cheating & put my Mom through so many changes. I''ve finally was able to find a therapist after years of searching. Going through all this ( cause you don't know half the story) has paved the wave for my own mental disorders of which I suffer many. Thank you for your channel!

I guess one has to try to find a counsellor or therapist who knows about this kind of abuse & has experience of helping people who have problems with abusive relationships. Might be more difficult in some areas than others. I wonder if any mental health charities locally or your doctor might have information.

The scars may not be immediately visable but they are there in changes to your self esteem, confidence, how outgoing or withdrawn you are, how well you are coping generally, your mood, ability to learn, memory & how much you are enjoying life.

Things that I think that needed to be added to this : and I think if you know something about the person that they are hanging out with and they did not notice this about this person I think you have every right to point that out to them to give them heads up that they are not a good person to hang out with if it's not a long time friend an it's a newer friend an you notice or found out some information I think you have a right to let them no. An if that person that they are hanging around an your spouse starts acting an kind of thinking like them an start treating you badly in any kind of way ya I think you have every write to point that out to them. Emotionally withdrawal : to use to hurt the other person on purpose because you either made them angry or you hurt their feelings. * I think if someone's behavior is being extremely rude or meanI think you have every right to point that out to that person and ask them to please stop doing you this way because you do not like it and it is hurting you and they're not respecting you and you would like them toI think in this kind of situation I think it is fine to bring this up if they're doing something on purpose treating you a certain waysaying something I think you have every right to point that out if it's literally done on purpose because you hurt. My spouse has aspd so I'm not going to sit there an not say anything if I'm done a certain way. I'm going to open my mouth an stand up for myself.
