Since draws rarely hit, you NEED to know the math behind bluffing. This workbook lays it out for you: www.splitsuit.com/postflop-poker-workbook

On your last tip, people just need to remember that fortune favors the bold and if you get a hero call, take it as a sign of respect, from your opponent, for your game. You can't hero call straight forward players, only players whom you deem good enough to find some bluffs.

Good stuff Mr Sweeney. Can you give some info on the hybrid, NL, spread game in Washington State? Its tough to get info on this game and I was wondering how much of the NL info you give relates to this game. If youre not familiar its 1-3, $300 max bet limit.

Tyty! I've only played that game format a few times (at Muckleshoot), but the biggest change is on later streets where $300 bets become smaller and smaller percentages of the total pot size. IME, this didn't impact the game in a huge way at $1/$3.

I know the answer to every question is "it depends," but say you bet $70 into $80 on the turn (less the $7 rake), got called, and now had a $220 pot on the river. Are you thinking of an overbet as something like $280-300 into $220, or a more than 2x overbet of $450?

Something around 1.5x pot is usually a nice and easy number. But you're 100% correct that "it depends" =)

It's the Sirius B deck. Not sure if they are still available since they were a limited run iirc.
