Say 67 for me it’s oh so tough for me ... after 8 years of smoking hard ... I keep tryna find a loophole bcuz so many things and other stresses in life keep tempting me .. loneliness and being bored is a big one ... I can’t find my motivation like I expected to ... I started cooking more so that’s new but now it’s dying down again ... I’m literally dreaming about smoking ... it’s so annoying ... if I had something or someone to occupy my time it would be easier ... like the urges aren’t there but I still remember how it made me feel ... I’m just goin thru it ... why haven’t the urges left yet ?

Found your channel today. You've given me so.e more inspiration, keep it up. I've been toking for 25 years! I've had some time off here n there but generally a wake n bake person. Luckily I'm a fit active person anyway but I'm trying to quit all bad habits to be a better example to my kids who are old enough to know what's what now. I've been intermittent fasting for a few months now. Today is 3 weeks of no smoking or drinking and I'm %99 sugar free as well. I'm only just started no fap (1 week now) It's so difficult but I know it'll be worth it in the long run and I feel like a effin beast already so looming forward to hitting the 2-3 month marks. Anyway I subbed so keep me updated and motivated! We can do it!!!

For the past 2 weeks or so I've been smoking daily and I feel pretty good honestly. I figured out that the secret to getting rid of anxiety is to believe you are a good person. Once you have that belief you can utilize life to your advantage. You can actually look forward to feeling anxious whether you're high or not because it gives you a fight to overcome and win. You brought up a good point. That although the tobacco probably pulled you through a cannibas craving, it's the point of just having an addiction. So I've quit cigs four years ago and hardcore drugs. .. however, Im stoned all day. And I vape nicotene. And for me, I guess I could stop here and say I did a good job getting my life together and dropping the smokes. But for me, I want to quit the attachments all together. I want to have no attachments and run on my own juice. My own chi. So I get that. It's about addiction period. I have to say whether it was heroine, cocaine, alcohol, cigs it weed... I have that same exact feeling everytime... EVERYTIME!... That shadow of guilt, that I KNOW it's time to drop this. That I'm not living up to my true and fullest potential. I will never be able to expand my consciousness the way i know is available to me, if I continue this. The universe has a way with me of communicating. And it has let me know, for almost a year now, that I will not be able to expand my consciousness, remember dreams, etc, until I get over this hurdle with the weed. Also want to quit vaping nicotene. I get why cold turkey is the way to go. Because I've just been replacing the physical behaviors while really the root of the problem is the same. The core. I use substances to escape ...and I am an addict. Doesn't matter what the substance is, on a deeper level. I need these videos man... I love em. Keep sharing. You sure as hell are going to be part of the momentum I manifest when I do finally put the grass down... I'm super close. Just have to take that plunge. Love. Light. All that good stuff to you. 🙏✌️

I relate to everything you've said and a lot of the time I feel the same way. Any mind altering substance takes away from our consciousness and puts a hamper in our self-development. Escape is tempting, but it's like you mentioned, living up to your fullest potential isn't really possible when you're constantly escaping from all the pain points that accompany growth. Keep doing what you're doing. Good things are coming. Bless up!

Hey whats your opinion on stopping and then doing it once a month or so? is it just a dangerous line to be on? I made myself not smoke until I got a job and now and i'm still riding on that.
@KVONTUBE
6 жыл бұрын
I don't know if it's dangerous, because weed isn't harmful if done in moderation (or even in excess for that matter). I think it's more about why you stopped smoking weed in the first place and if that one time a month (which would probably turn into more overtime) is going to get in the way of that reason. I think if you're gonna stop, do a hard stop for a while and when you're ready to bring it back into your life, don't put a limit or a hard number on the amount of times you can do it (you'll naturally rebel against this type of thinking).

I'm on day 62 today. I was a three time a dayer. More on the weekends. During the last month i have had way more cravings for cannabis than the first month. My dreams have also normalized. They were crazy the first 30 days off. My flem is finally clear as of this week. (Which amazed me that it took that long) During the first 30 days I lost 40 lbs because I just wasn't hungry. The last two weeks I've put on ten lbs as the appetite has normalized. Some decisions I've made this month for my future of cannabis consumption: I will smoke again. I will smoke waaaaay less than before. (I'll try and shoot for once every other night and only at night) I want to do this mainly because I feel it helps my workouts and motivation for exercise. Also, as a former college football player, my brain took a bunch if damage. I'm beginning to feel the effects of it. According to recent research, cannabis (both cbd and thc) has been proven to help in the slowing of the effects of CTE. And when I was consuming it regularly these past 4+ years, I can say that is the truth. I didn't have headaches, as much joint pain and oddly enough I felt more mentally clear. I feel like it gave my brain a reset button and gave it time to rest. It also helped me to be a better parent. Which sounds crazy but if I was stressed about the day with the kids I would consume and everything was just way better. "Oh you wrote on the walls with permanent markers? No biggie. Let's clean it up." And playing with Legos high is way more fun for me and the kids. With that being said, i was addicted to it. Very addicted. So, this break has given me some perspective on my consumption. I definitely want to do it way less. I want to not be as addicted. I want to take routine daily and weekly breaks. So, I'm going to go another 20-30 days off and then get back on the green. It was nice to prove to myself that I don't NEED it. But honestly, I want to do it. My body functions better with it. My brain feels better with it. My old football injuries feel better with it. So, I'm going back. I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. Sincerely; Chadrick from Canton, Ohio.

Sounds like you're killing it! I think if cannabis is helping you (especially with the past injuries) then it's important to figure out a way to incorporate it back into your life. & if it helps with parenting (which I assume is super stressful, but rewarding!) then there's another great reason to learn some self-control and have weed become a part of your life, rather than it consuming you whole (both mentally and physically). Congrats on the weight loss and keep going, consider me inspired.

Hey from person experience as competitive bodybuilder here who’s been working out for the past 7 years and i too played football but just pop Warner and all throughout HS. So i can relate and get what you mean by weed helps you exercise but that’s just a perception, I was telling myself that so much it became the truth. I get where you’re coming from it’s nice to have a intense workout then go home and smoke as a reward. I don’t know how you use weed to motivate you or why it easier to workout and go to the gym when your smoking. But for me it was because I would tell myself okay I don’t get to smoke until I’m done working out. I just replaced that with something else like watching Netflix or getting to eat dessert etc... I believe you think your better off smoking overtly other day or whatever, because you’ve gotten so accustomed to your life as a smoker and after smoking for years it makes sense. For example I was smoking for 7 years so it would make sense that it would take over a few months to completely go back to normal maybe even 1 year. But also it’s about growing, weed makes us complacent big reason why I stopped. In my head I was like dude in 5’9 165 pounds and 8% body fat why do I still need to workout and stopped going as hard. Which lead to me getting smaller from not dieting properly since it’s hard to track macros while faded. I think weed clouds our judgement it lets us let things slide we usually wouldn’t. We’ve gotten to used to using weed as our problem solver we’ve forgotten or never learned to solve certain problems ourselves. For example you mention when your kids write on walls with sharpies you’re more chiller when high. But you can also practice being aware of you mental state and your energy. Maybe through mediation or whatever it may be but our minds are so powerful you can train it to not react to situation as aggressively. Basically all the positive benefits you notice from weed you can do yourself and even more because you’re not limited like on weed. We’re capable of so much man people don’t realize that, I don’t have kids but if my nephew were to write with sharpie on my wall or spill something in my car that I love and care for a lot. I would realize the feeling of incoming anger, pay attention to the anger and realize it’s caused by myself and no outside force. So I would let the anger subside before showing it to my nephew. Realize my car is just a materialistic item and my newphew matters 1000 times more than my car. And I talk to myself in my brain and de escalate the situation like I can probably clean it up anyways etc... then the problem all of sudden is so small and you can react calmly and say it’s okay. See the same thing I used to do on weed I was able to do even better sober. It feel good knowing you’re not relying on anything for it anyways, makes you feel stronger and more confident. What if you go on vacation with your family later on maybe another country and can’t smoke there how will you be towards your kids and deal with lifes suffering then? We have the internet teach yourself these things learn wether it be through Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins , Allan watts, Ed mylett, I could name dozens more but my favorite is mfceo podcast by Andy frisella please check it out u won’t regret it. He game from nothing to a 500million dollar net worth all earned himself he doesn’t just talk about business but mainly also personal development and philosophy but in a modern alpha male way. I think you’ll love it. Here 2 quotes I’ll leave you with that relate to the topic. “No one else ‘makes us angry.’ We make ourselves angry when we surrender control of our attitude.” - Jim Rohn This ones perfect for what you said about your kids. And how you react nicer or get less angry when your high. “To attain knowledge, add things every day. To attain wisdom, subtract things every day,” it said, capsulizing teachings of Lao Tzu What I think it means. Wisdom is gained through removing what you've been socialized to believe and how to think. When you remove your programming, you "attain" wisdom. It's a process of removing, not adding. That is the path to enlightenment. It is the most pure form of existence and it is sad in a way but it can never be described using words, it can only be experienced. As much as you may want to tell everyone what you "discovered" For example I always thought and believed weed was harmless and that it actually even benefits me. When I confronted myself though I realized I was kinda of lying to myself so I had to subtract smoking weed. Which led me to gain wisdom, a certain understanding that can’t be explained but only achieved. You uncover things about yourself you could never uncover otherwise.

It's all diet, my man. It's also hard to answer this question without knowing some other things as well.
