She beat him for a long time, then one day he got close and she said she was done, who was the smart one/won 😆

I’ve been watching you for a long time, MindSmash, and you’ve mentioned many interesting things. However, no definitive conclusions should be drawn from here about martial arts, especially karate. Karate was developed for life-and-death situations, with many punches being potentially lethal, requiring the use of bare knuckles and fingers targeting vulnerable areas such as the eyes, throat, and temples. It involves breaking hands, spines, knees, executing sweeps, and finishing an opponent on the ground. Speed is of the essence. Only a fraction of its arsenal is permissible in sports, even in karate as a sport itself, let alone boxing. I would wager that many of the points I’ve raised are also true for kung fu, although I’m not very familiar with it. If there’s an exemplary use of karate in sports, the best instance I can think of would be the fight between Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida.

This whole is a misconception. Kung fu doesn't teach you this, the overwhelming prevalence of bad kung fu "masters" do. Too many people out here who never fought but learned from someone who did grew into old men thinking they were him. It isn't the art, but the artist. I have met kung fu people who could absolutely handle fighting in mma, but they don't and they tend to not train with people on mass. I have also met people they train who are useless in a real fight, but have the ego they can fight. Even though they train once a week and never been punched in the face.
@KingsKeep
24 күн бұрын
That is the issue with most of today's fighters. Their ego is their worst enemy. There was more self-respect between fighters of various fighting styles back in the day. But sadly, the hype and fame have gotten to most.
@9usuck0
