To everyone asking about the women: I would imagine women wear at home or attending to their duties with their children, families and/or other womenfolk. Also, younger women may have been either caring for small children and at the same time pregnant with a child (remember, no birth control), so I would imagine life is very busy already. They have the men in their lives to do outside duties. Young girls were probably at home helping mom. Remember, as of this writing, this was 125 years ago!

Yeah it's likely a much much later recording. The sound sounds like it's using modern mic and storage device. I sample music from the 1920's and those recordings sound obviously physically degraded, while this audio isn't. You can hear/feel how much bass there is. I'm pretty sure we couldn't record bass like that until much later.

Quite a few people are commenting on here that these people are all “ghosts” and are long dead. Here’s what is really trippy…these people are all you and me…all one consciousness living in various individual forms, experiencing the SAME things we are going through here now. In fact, they’re illusions, just as we are now…having our experiences, and soon to be One again when we move beyond the veil of this 3D illusion.
