🏡We are in the middle of a loneliness pandemic. More than ever people feel disconnected and alone and too busy to do anything about it. Thankfully we have Hospitality Educator, Kayty Helgerson of Gather Intentional Living & Everyday Hospitality. As a public speaker, food stylist, writer, and aspiring interior designer, she is set out to see our generation come back to the table through hospitality.
Kayty's mission started as a newlywed moving halfway around the world to Thailand and feeling completely alone. She realized that it was up to her to change the narrative to make new friends AND create a feeling of belonging.
With her 3 tenants of FOOD, DESIGN and RELATIONSHIPS, get ready for some simple first steps to make sure that your home feels like a safe haven so you can gather people in a way feels less like entertainment and more like connection. Hint: it's not about spending hours making the perfect soufflé (or PIE, like you'll hear) or dusting baseboards before company arrives -- it's about the little things that make a big difference.
After this episode, you'll be ready to MAKE TIME to GATHER!
