I honestly feel like 65 should of been a tv show. I enjoy it, but it feels like we could of gotten more of this strange alien cretaceous earth with herbivores, more made up dinosaurs, and hell maybe even some people who discovered earth yesrs ago and gone crazy.

You can clearly see the fasolasuchus would be a trike, which is would be much more terrifying consecrating it isn’t hungry, it is in pure rage for losing its eye

What one do you think would be a fasolasuchus? The big quadruped or the little lanky ones, the latter is meant to be a lagosuchus and the former is actually meant to be a tyrannosaurus despite the fact that they had two other tyrannosaurs in the movie.

I feel like instead of being aliens, Adam driver and the girl and the rest of the crew should’ve been time travelers from the future. And they try to go back in time to set up a new small colony since a deadly plague is killing them off in the future. Or maybe they’re from another dimension or something. They just don’t look alien at all.

I would much rather watch your version of the movie than the original one💀 There's a sinister and daek tone to the animals and they look more natural than the movie's "Jakapil"
@DreadEnder
5 ай бұрын
The weird animal isn’t a jakapil. The director’s originally wanted a lystrosaurus, which was later replaced by a chubby baby ankylosaurus which the first test screening said wasn’t scary enough so it was given long back legs and a bipedal stance and a more theropod like head. The directors said they only heard of jakapil after the movie was released.

I read somewhere that a ceratopsian was supposed be the main antagonist before it was replaced by the Fasolasuchus. As cool as the latter was, I kind of wished they went with the former. Not too often you see a herbivore being a bad guy. The only one that comes to mind is the Brontosaurus from the 1933's original King Kong and the infected sauropod from Primal.

@@EmilySteppPaleoartLook, I feel the same for Triceratops's presence in 65 too, and while I don’t mind Fasolasuchus being a replacement, on a sad but true note, an herbivore can’t really hunt, the only thing an herbivore can attack is when threatened.

But this time, Mills and Koa were the aliens who take on human form, and the planet they've landed was Earth, 65 Million Years Ago. And the dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals in 65 are not aliens but normal prehistoric creatures.

I saw it on my birthday a couple weeks ago. I had a fun time with it, there's things that bothered me like the expositional subtitles taking away the mystery and plausible deniability that the dinosaurs were alien that would've allowed them to make more sense. Definitely a lot of stuff that they setup that didn't have a clear payoff. Still really enjoyed watching Adam Driver fall over and over. B- or C+ probably.

It's in Procreate so a really minimal amount of layers. Usually just two at a time that I'd flatten back down to one and keep repeating.
