Totally agree! Graham will have his own show someday. He reminds me of my husband, an amazing handyman who can design and make just about anything I want. 😊 But Graham is about 30 years younger than my husband and has an amazing future of building stuff ahead of him. I love that he’s part of the team, and I can tell the team loves him too. Win-win.

I love your design and your vibe. I’m a retired OB/gyn who became a contractor in my 50’s. I taught myself to tile and I’m pretty Impressed by what you did there. Tile does make all the difference I think. As a Mom though, I’m worried about the grout, especially in a rental. Make sure, that if you are using sinks to rinse out the grout sponges, that you let the water run for at least 20-30 minutes after you are done. Otherwise the grouty water turns into a solid and will ruin your pipes. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way…..I hope you don’t mind but I’m going to steal the use of cane over the louvered door at some point!

I love the renter-friendly option for tiles! And little things like changing the direction of the door on the fridge will make such a difference for her! I just love the renter friendly series. There are so many shows where everything gets ripped out and replaced, but I think working with what's there is so much more inspiring! (Even now that we are home owners for the first time). I do wonder, can the drawers open when the drop leaf is down?
@bnggon9248

I checked at 29:33. The drawers seem offset from the wall enough that the drop-leaf shelf doesn’t get in the way while it’s dropped down should you want to pull out the drawers.

Beautifully done! Quick tip, though - “unglazed” tiles are the ones you want to worry about sealing. The term “matte” can also apply to plenty of glazed tiles that have a slightly more honed texture, so just didn’t want people to freak out at the word “matte” unnecessarily. But seriously, installing tile onto a temporary board in a rental!?! I’m eyeing my own kitchen now with new eyes and my brain buzzing with ideas!!!

I agree she deserves more subscribers. Perhaps because she caters solely to millennials or a younger audience, which limits her viewership. Or maybe issue with algorithm. Her channel was a comfort to me during the early days of the pandemic.

I too have a tiny kitchen. The problem with switching frig door swing is that sometimes they don't stay closed. Manufacturers do not recommend. I installed a child safety latch that prevents the doors from coming open. I would rather have the latch then the awkward swing on the frig. A Graham styled cutting board sink sized would give added counter space. Beautiful.

And with the two chairs could seat five. Would also be possible to use a temporary larger circle top for a larger table for the few times she might want to have a larger party. Add a few folding chairs and serve on smaller dishes could squeeze 5 or six in a pinch.

Just came across this video and as a designer/ artist and builder I’m really impressed with the out of the box ideas that are not cheaply orchestrated!!! I have never gotten my deposits back in any rental I have ever had it’s kind of a prerequisite as a designer I can’t leave anything alone in fact in most cases my transformations stayed after I left lol but most people don’t think this way and these are really beautiful, affordable options that anyone with a little confidence can do!!! I will definitely incorporate the tile idea into any rental clients I get in the future!! Thank you guys!!! Love, Light and ART!!!💪💪

Shout out to Graham for switching the fridge doors! Once when I had a washer and dryer put in the doors were opening in opposite directions and I almost had to threaten the guys installing them to just freaking switch the doors. They were trying to tell me i could just open the washer and put the clothes on the dryer and then open the dryer. I told them if they didn't switch them I expected them to come and switch my clothes to the dryer for EVERY LOAD!! Ugh. So kudos to Graham for thinking of that and doing it without anyone having to push him to. That is the kind of stuff that REALLY tells the person you care. 💖

I'd seen them awhile back and would love to see what Team AG does with it. The only thing I'd suggest for future reference, is maybe give more space for the toaster oven shelf and DO NOT store stuff on top of it.
