I dont understand why people put so much importance to formal education Im so glad that I didn't work so hard in studying physical therapy. Studying that didn't make me rich.

Your initial asvab will stay vaild for 2 years after you leave service. But most likely you wont have to retake. Id ask a recruiter. But before you do you have you considered trying to earn your doctorate and become and physical therapist?

To be in this mos do you need to go to school for pt to qualify? If not could you service your time then be able to be a physical therapist outside of the army?

@@josiahbassett9216 Sort of. You're learning mostly physical therapist assistant skills. Physical Therapy (not a PT assistant) is a 3 year doctoral program. But you will learn many skills that would help you in PT school if you went later

@@josiahbassett9216 You get certifications for free for sure, and you have experience so you might slide over a kid with the college degree cause you actually have experience. But just do the school while you’re in anyway so you’re super qualified.
