That truck looks amazing, great job👍 how much time and money did you invest in that build? We have an 02 F350 7.3 with 168k on it but needs about the same amount of work yours did. Wondering if it's worth it

Thank you! I worked on it only on the weekends. I picked up the truck at the end of October and pretty much finished the end of April. All in about $11.000.00. It’s DEFINITELY WORTH IT! Gotta keep those 7.3’s on the road! (248,000 miles on it now)

@@jrbuilds6080 That's not bad at all for what you did. Couple more questions, how was your oil pan? Ours is about to rust threw. Was the leak on the ground from the steering gear box? Last How did prep and paint your frame? Thanks

Charlie Miller , The oil pan is in good shape. This truck pretty much leaked everywhere else! I did turbo pedestal o rings, Ccv o rings, icp and o ring. Yes the steering gearbox and power steering pump leaked to! Replaced both. As far as the frame, I wire brushed and wire wheeled everything! Primed and painted with Rustoleum satin black.

What type of Berliner did you use for the cab? How did you apply it?

I used Raptor liner the product is AWESOME! You can buy it as a kit with a spray gun that’s how I applied mine. It’s also timetable to the color of your choice.

WOW I didn’t know I was building a show truck! I’ll remember next time to check all my gaps on a truck I painted with bed liner and use for work.
