Pass the game is a unique situation to find yourself in, not knowing how what you made will morph and end up. We definitely took it in a wild direction at the end for sure. Glad you liked the final product and thanks for your hard work. It was nice working with you-- even if it was without knowing it!

Yeah, "wendigo" should not have been on that wheel. It is a taboo, contemporary spiritual belief of the Ojibwe, not a fun cryptid for horror media

That’s just the way it goes with spiritual beliefs. We see demons of Catholic stories used in horror all the time. Stories of the Greek Parthenon are made into silly comics. Many of the spirits of Japanese folklore are used in horror stories. Beasts of the apocalypse from Christianity are used in media constantly. That’s just the way the world is. Spiritual beliefs to one person inspires a story from another. Pagen practices inspired witches in media. The two are not the same, but the inspiration and tie is still there. The demonology of Christian/Catholic beliefs are used in movies and tv shows. Yes, Lucifer in something like Hazbin Hotel is nothing like the fallen angel of theology. The inspiration is there, and that’s fine. Many people still worship the Greek gods, and yet Disney made a silly story about them and changed every deity to have a new personality. And it’s not a big deal because nobody is claiming it to be the original idea. It’s an inspiration source. A fictitious reimagining of a concept. It happens to all sorts of cultures and beliefs. The wendigo is separated, like everything else mentioned, into a spiritual side and the media interpretation.
