We’re back baby! 🥳 This is our final video for the Baja vanlife series! It took us a little while to finish because we were busy (1) being sick and (2) applying for the ✨FareDrop Dream Job✨ with Kara & Nate! The final winner will be decided a VOTE, and we 3 finalists have videos on the @FareDrop KZitem channel. Our video is about Tucson, and we think y’all would really like it! The other 2 finalists made some awesome videos, so please check them out as well! 💚 Here’s the link to vote: forms.gle/gK8uJziUz2srva6X6 Thanks for being so patient with us! Your support always keeps us going, and we SUPER appreciate it! 😄💚

Well, every checkpoint experience is individual and should not be ignored if it's a negative experience or positive. Just make sure every testimonial is from someone who's actually been thru it and not just couch surfers fearful of the world outside their comfort zone. ✌

Great question! 💚 I think 4 rigs would be the biggest caravan we’d want to try, but you can always split into smaller groups if people have different schedules or preferences! We met people traveling in an 8 or 10 rig caravan, and they just had to have a strict schedule to keep everyone on track 😄

I hate to see this part of your journey come to an end. I am hoping to do Baja next winter, so I have really enjoyed this series. Question: Did you consider instead of just heading back up the way you went down, taking the ferry from La Paz over to Mazatlán and then coming up the eastern coast of the Sea of Cortez to get back to the US?
@JimmyandNatalie

Great video. What did you do in San Jose del cabo besides the protests. It's funny because when I was there in the 90s they were also protesting. I flew there and stayed in both places. I bet it's grown alot. I enjoyed your fast but adventurous 7 days. In surer it felt good to get back to your country. With a diff language and money I found it more stressful than travel in my own country of Canada.

Totally agree! It can be more stressful traveling in a different country, but the experiences we've had that got us out of our comfort zone have been SO rewarding! 😄 In San Jose del Cabo, we got coffee/smoothies at a cafe and spent about an hour strolling around the city center. There was a LOT more to do there, but we really only had a few hours this time 💚

Fair question! We found that the roads in Mexico can be really narrow and rough (potholes, unexpected speed bumps). Watching your past videos, you've mentioned several times that you don't have health insurance. We used health insurance thru the affordable care act for a couple of years. If your income is low, the premium is really low. It's not the best insurance but it is insurance. Of course, nothing is free especially from the government. They end up charging you taxes on the amount they subsidized when you file your taxes. Natalie, ginger ale, Ginger snap cookies or even ginger pills are great for motion sickness. We were into sailing for years and lived aboard for 2 years. We always carried ginger ale and ginger snaps for guests that suffered from seasickness.

I drive through europe with a motorhome for over 2 years and I am so glad we don't have security checkpoints or border points. You only have to stop at the border is you go out of the EU or coming in. But you only need to show your passport and thats it takes max 10min. My motorhome is never checked gladly. I would personally not go to a place with a lot of checkpoints or long border crossings because I hate them😅. Respect to you for having the patience for it😊 Keep up the good work
