@@rosethefirechieftess1683 we were on a Celebrity cruise years ago from Port Everglades. While chatting with an officer, who was the Captain, this young boy about 8,or 9,came flying down the stairs..running. The captain grabbed him, told him,"there will be no running on my ship",that scared the kid,the captain let him go. Ships today get all sorts on them but the cruiselines have to be firm and diplomatic. People also should be aware, the cruise director, is one step below the captain. Sad thing is? This isn't uncommon. When I used to work at the Bay as security (Mandalay Bay, for those unfamiliar) one of the things a former coworker of mine warned me about were people who intentionally tried to cause trouble in order to get banned from properties so as to file lawsuits. A couple months after I started working I encountered three idiots (two woman, one man) who did anything and everything in their power to get thrown off the property. They screwed up however when they choose to spit on one of my officers and well that sealed the deal. They weren't just thrown off, they hit with assault charges. Yet even after that, they filed a lawsuit against the property and several officers for how they were treated - the lawsuit was thrown out of court and they are now banned from pretty much every strip property and even some casino's outside of Nevada.

I just came back from a week long cruise from Seward, Alaska to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on the Celebrity Summit, and on that cruise our director was the native of Chicago who now lives in Las Vegas, Rich Clesen! He was seen in this video too, and fortunately there was no such incident that happened during my time with that ship! It was still a pleasure for me, though, to have learned all about that guy, even if I’m not the biggest theater person in the world, per se! Upon debarking in Vancouver, we had to fill out a customs form to enter the country of Canada and show it to the people working at the port, so immigration worked differently than the incident in this video where a guy was illegally jumping into the Caribbean Sea in Turks and Caicos, because I think maybe the cruise ship then took care of passport control for the passengers.

Really stupid jumping from the top of the boat . Where there is an equation = mass x momentum That volumes of water slow down . I was Asia once around 2000 - and we had gone out to sea on a fishing boat to fish , BBQ snorkel and then go into a bay . My friend and I were jumping off the top of the one story high at the coral reef ( snorkeling) . We started to.dp it in the bay - I literally would have broke my legs going in feet first. Luckily I went "bum" first for splash devastation . I hit my bum on the bottom, its was sore . Where these ports are deep , sometimes they only have a couple of metres from the bottom of the ship . I've heard loads of stories of people jumping off clips, ledges and breaking their legs , back etc ....as they never knew the depth or what's underneath . I live in the scottish highlands now , which has sea lochs . The sea lochs can be extremely deep - but they are literally mountains below sea level , full of twisted ledges etc
